I've had this guitar for about 4 years now, it's currently the best guitar I have played so far and I play it a lot. The only thing I'm going to change is the tremolo and maybe humbucker in the neck.
@subsonicyouth288 Honestly, there's nothing wrong with it, it works great and the guitar doesn't go out of tune haha. I just wanna put vega trem in it as it's almost the same thing as a floyd rose, just a 2 point trem system.
@@BrokenStrings231do you find any issues with the pickups then ? I’ve heard a few people say they aren’t balanced and things along those lines. Is the the humbucker not very responsive?
I agree, he's an incredible player, which is why I wanted the guitar. Unfortunately for me there's a couple of bits about the guitar that I don't get on with though!
Knowing Schecter, they have an equivalent spec and price model with a bridge pickup you'd like more. The singles on this one came alive for me when you were in 4th switch position (center & neck) and put some gain on it. And it all sounded ok clean and stratty. Like you, I could do without that particular bridge humbucker and might change that because everything else is good really. Btw your playing was fine! If you were stumbling anywhere I didn't hear it. But I know what you mean. I have an old Schecter PT Saturn (early super Tele with FR-type trem and splittable humbuckers) with a fatter neck, not so flat on the radius. I guess that's more what you prefer. Enjoyed this, new subscriber!
Damn, I was going to message you about buying this on marketplace but it was marked sold today 😂! I’m looking for a small neck super Strat or tele. Super playing btw!
Bought one. The trem wasn't good quality. Replace it with a gotoh 510. Much better. It would have been great to have jumbo stainless steel frets and a LSR roller nut.
I have an ibanez az224f and I hesitated before getting it between this schecter and the ibanez, saw you playing an az, how does this one compare to the ibanez which one you think feels And plays better?
@@medabroud9855 For me the AZ is perfect, every guitar I pick up feels inferior. The neck is perfect for me and it's just a great do-it-all guitar. I got this schecter to see if I could be my next go to but unfortunately I didn't like it. It's a great guitar but it doesn't suit me
@@jbrewermusic wow! That's a really strong endorsement of them! I quite like my Schecter USA stuff, but the AZ's are also very nice and you can't argue with the list of incredible musicians who swear by them.
Been playing 22 years. Played an Ibanez AZ and it was horrible to play, felt cheap and a “plastic” tone. Tried an Indonesian Nick Johnston Schecter and it blew the AZ out of the water if terms of feel and how it felt to play. And I’ve been playing a JS Ibanez for most of my playing career. All preference!
Awesome playing man.And guitar too.

Whats wrong with the tremelo and what are you thinking of changing it to. I am thinking of getting this guitar .

Boy, Nick Johnson can play that guitar and is the best shredder ever. He makes beautiful music, not a bunch of noise..

@@markpell8979 thankyou I really appreciate it! Yes the single coils are great and for the price, the guitar is fantastic
3:46 Dent on the guitar body 😂. QC issues?
I didn't even see that! It was probably me I'm not very careful with guitars

Great demo! What do you think of the Schecter MV6?
@@eblue9620thanks! It looks interesting but it's not my cup of tea
What color is this? Is it atomic frost?
@@lucus1717 yeah this is the atomic frost (blue)
For the life of me I don’t understand why guitar companies insist on using push pulls with normal style Strat knobs
Nothing says stage ready like a knob that just pops right off mid performance.
Push push is the way to go!
