It’s so good to see a video like this from you again. You have helped me many times in the past with gear selection and knowing what to look for from a buyers standpoint. Hearing “how the hell are you” just brought back so much nostalgia for me, I hope to see many more of these unbiased reviews. Cheers to your return
Glad to see you back man I've always loved your gear reviews! Since you asked for feedback I do like it when you do the demos at the beginning of the video it really sets the tone and starts the video off strong in that format 👍 I also think that's a really badass orange color and it's a shame they're moving away from the roasted maple.
Nick is one of my favorite guitarists, and he is close to me in terms of the minimalism of the necessary equipment. I don't listen to his recordings, but he's great live.
Hi Arnold you are shineing like the sun, You are awesome and back after the into the fire and back out from the ashes eveb more awesome. thanks n take care
@@ghost_java35 Easy reach? It’s practically part of the bridge. Maybe you have raccoon hands but it’s way too close. I also use my volume pot all the time but having it near my pinky when my palm is resting on the bridge is as close as I want that pot.
It was kinda odd that you didn't test out the bridge a bit: I wouldn't expect divebombs but if they don't go with a fixed bridge I'd love to know if at least I can do flutters or full chord short vibratos with it. But it's not like I was expecting something *without* a humbucker tbh even for classic metal it's always better for riffs with a humbucker so I always default to consider single coils for genres other than metal. It sounds doable in a mix but well, not inspiring me to do any chugs.
If I were buying an SSS guitar, this line would be my first choice. Welcome back, Arnold. I'm curious, in your older videos you had a really sick music intro. This one sounds different. Is todd older intro on any of your released music?
@@mikedenkinger9570 I've got a budget for my toys 🥲. The new Ibanez AZ standard has a similar look and SS frets for $550. May end up getting one of those.
I own this guitar and 5 other schecters as well. They are great guitars but I would have to criticize schecters quality control. All but one of the guitars I own came with electronic problems or other built defect, like bad fret job etc. All of the guitars had schecter tuners that are just rubbish and had to be switched withing a year of playing. I love all of the guitars but schecters do need to work on their quality control.
Arnold you're playing a normal guitar there. If you need help, blink 3 times
I actually bought a guitar thanks to a review you done. (The Head Ltd 7 string). Glad to see you back and doing reviews again!

I missed your reviews so much! Really like the details you go through, especially regarding neck shape and frets.
I missed your reviews…one of the few no bullshit honest tear downs out there
There I finally got around to watching one of your new videos. I loved when you started playing SRV.
so good to see your reviews back dude
Glad to see you back in action!
I dig the demo track man. Glad to see you back and doing stuff again.
Damn, Arnold cranking out new content like a machine. Good to see you again.

Oh man what a great track you delivered !
OH HOW IVE MISSED THESE
Damn new setup, new intro, new guitar. Good on u bud
Love, love, love the track. Those single coils sound amazing Ahhnold.~
'Push' is such a killer Halloween track! In fact, Better Than Raw needs way more love! \m/
The whole nick Johnston series is good
glad you are back man !! looking for something similar to that shelve you have your amps on ! where did you get that !
Loving those single coil tones in a metal context
I own one of the first run Diamonds, absolutely stellar guitar. Wildly underrated in my opinion. I'd love to own one of the top end ones.
Hey man great review, what's the track you're playing at 8:19? Sounds killer!
Just something I came up with for the video. Thank you!
one might find similarities with the song "walking in the air"

I love these but as a strat player the two knobs and side mounted Jack just look wrong to me
Automatic 10/10 because it doesn't have that annoyingly stupid volume knob placement Fender has.
Absolutely. I hate where the standard Strat volume pot is. I hit it all the time and then have to constantly turn it back up.
Within easy reach is ‘stupid’ placement huh?

Orange Strats seem to find their way to your door.
YES! I love Schecter!
Testing a single coil guitar, I appreciate the Helloween riff!
Single coil tone is super killer
If I had to pick between a fender player 2 or a Nick Johnston signature, I still think I’d prefer the Schecter personally speaking.
Check out vola guutars
Great review!
Would've bought this guitar if it had SS frets. Otherwise, it seems fantastic.
Suhr is the answer.

look into the Harley Benton Fusions. One of the great surprise values out there
That Mortiferum long sleeve is distracting me in the best way possible!
Demo song first pls! Sets the mood & everything flows from there!

Love ya dude! Sick fucking orange lol
4:09 - what i came here for.
Sounds like alcest
No single coils or single sized buckers. Full coil hi gain super scooped metal ✨️ raaaaawr. Just sayin'
sounds terrible for metal
Its Always worth sticking around to see what Arnold is drinking.
