Skookum. Such a great word. Love how when Cam sees a striking cap his eyes immediately dart around looking for a hammer. 😂

On the heavy impacts, 100% agree, i also find they dont bounce around as much as lighter models

Take a look at Astro's stubby sockets. Similar depth, but they put 17mm flats on every socket as well, so you can spin it with a wrench....

Pro tip with those mats.. store them in a big thrash bag like 80L or something. My collegues and i use those as well and it prevents oil/water getting sucked in

I have a set of the carbide scrapers and ive had mine for over a year(just rebranded) I use it for everything(from gaskets, rust, paint, asphalt) and still is extremely sharp, I haven’t had to sharpen them yet

@@TekamoHD I think about half a year, can't remember. I do know they're great in tight spaces.

I agree about the Snap on crows feet, my 1 5/8" rarely ever breaks the tube nut free. I usually end up using a hammer and chisel to break it loose. These look stronger, but not sure that they will fit where I need to go. Hope you get to try them out.

Best kneeling pads are harbor freight. Cheap, thick and rigid

Hey guys , try vinyl covered kneeling mats they dosnt disintegrate like the open foam ones (Tough as kneeling mats we get here in Aus). Same as tool bags they are easy to clean and oils don't destroy them. But they usually come in weird colours. Goodluck

Next time u at Volvo, ask for the pads that come out of the window glass boxs. Free kneeling pads

Definitely will be picking up the crows feet and the filter wrench. Not feeling the twisty handle on the pry bar. That’s a accident waiting to happen.

Santa was nice. That impact is sweet, I have a Matco for many years, for pure work air beats electric, electric is quickies. Those sockets and crow feet that German quality really shows , impressive. For a knee pad I use a cement finishers, but that large pad looks like it might put us in the comfort position as that other trade that makes a living on their backs. Sweet.
    Thanks for the video!

Those carbine scrapers are my go to for engine inframes. I like the idea of the cushion handle on the prybar but is it going to turn into a mess after using it in the field. Alot of those tools I've seen on the matco or Mac tool truck. Another great video guys and can't wait for the next one.

  • @24allix

How did the tiny impact work out? I'm going to grab some carbide scrapers & if it's quality I'd be down to grab one for trailer airbags/shop use to spare my m12 stubby

The new CAT ones suck! I found my old one. The band on the new CAT filter strap is a slippery nylon. The old CAT one is like a fiber nylon that hardly slips

    • @Tmjpwns
      @Tmjpwns 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Best I've found is a Ridgid no5 strap wrench.
Lasts way longer than the Cat.
Downside is that you can't put a extension on it.

That prybar won't list one job, neither will the magnetic trays in the fuxking cold. The crows feet hellen kellar could see the difference.

Ah German toys... They are great in the beginning until the Americans roll in with their snap-on maintained toys and steam-roll Europe.
