But this means I am approached by men who are not serious about me as a person be more captured by my looks. Also, I grew up in a single mother household so I haven’t seen a healthy marriage modeled for me; I think sometimes the way I select men is not the best.

As a single mom, work is important to maintain the family. But if I going to marry, I would like to stay home, cook, clean, work from home on the computer for just a few hours, helping husband work and study with him, etc. When I go to work, once a week I have to call the maid to clean, set up groceries, do partial cooking to keep in the fridge, do laundry, etc. I have done everything for one week. That's relaxing to enjoy the weekend. Working or nonworking does not matter if we manage time. After marriage, a few hours of working is fine to become more active. How do I interact with my future husband? Is it okay to video chat?

I completely understand the complexity you are expressing here, but don't lose hope. Maybe God has better plans for you that you are not yet aware of.
