I'm still waiting on an independent rap label to do what Master P and No Limit did in 1998, dropping an album every week and 23 albums total, with 14 of those 23 being platinum albums. It hasn't been done since and it won't be done again.
If the record label in my imagination was real that NL run would be beat in no time, but it (currently) isnt 😢😢😢. I think the streaming era kinda fucked up the chances of another label doing that tho
Ty Farris and his Bars Over BS label out of detroit has been making noise a good buzz releasing every other week like P did, they push numbers but no one will ever push like No Limit did in 98

NoLimit back in the days was fire, '98 was definitely a great year in music, especially when NoLimit was dropping albums/soundtracks non stop. I still bump them classics from P., C., Slikk, Fiend, Mystikal, Snoop to this day! Big ups to NoLimit.

C-Murder was the ONLY No Limit Rapper who actually wrote and rapped the dopest hardest stuff from No Limit and had the ability to go on for YEARS if he didn’t still stay in those s-tty clubs around Louisiana. So unfortunate he got caught up in something dumb and something he wasn’t responsible for.
