Bentonite & fish meal. I have big (10'~12') PVC poles I shove in the ground to mark the location where I bait. Also press the bait balls flat like a thick hamburger patty so you don't have to worry about the currents rolling them away.
It looks like you had fun which is what it’s about. Just like any fishing, we put in more effort and time to get a few dollars worth.

It was a good season for them down here in Suffolk. Looks like they're about gone with the full moon. Fresh shrimp taste great!!
