No all the poles are for is here in South Carolina you pay for a baiting shrimp license and you toss the bait balls around the poles X10 for 100 yards.
I bought thin walled 1/2in PVC pipe and 1/2in conduit and the pcv will not slide over the conduit.. I used scotch bright pad and even used 80grit sand paper on the conduit and also sprayed silicone on conduit and the pvc will not slide over the conduit.. 😢
What's up man, here in Charleston as well, from the Cainhoy area. Couple questions for you. Do these things float since you've got them somewhat airtight? Do the tags and reflector tape stay on once they get wet. Thanks man, good info. I'll be trying for this first time. Just bought our tags.
Tags stay on just fine. Yes they float a little but really don’t test it often. If I could recommend you to do one thing I didn’t do, get some spray foam and put a little per pole before cap.
Hi I was watching another video that you and your son were involved with and I was wondering if you sold the tree rods for the catfish I believe in the video that you said you made them so did you happen to sell them as well
I made mine very similar to yours. Hey I'm a local guy right down the road from u in M.I., maybe I'll see y on the water or perhaps we can hook up and go together. I drive and throw the net.
Do you put anything inside the poles? Bait? What attracts them to the poles? Thank you

They don’t at any Lowe’s or Home Depot around here.
Is it charlotte pipe with .062” thickness?
What size mesh on your nets, I use a 5/8" herring net to catch bait maybe to large for shrimp ?
Mine is 3/8 mesh.
