Bentonite & fish meal. I have big (10'~12') PVC poles I shove in the ground to mark the location where I bait. Also press the bait balls flat like a thick hamburger patty so you don't have to worry about the currents rolling them away.

Typically when do you see a lot of sheepshead on those wrecks? We tried earlier in June and didn't seem to have much life other than some Taugs.
