    I think the name you might have been looking for is "peanut" for small schoolies. When I fished South Florida, we just said, "dolphin" We knew it was not the mammal. I use to work off A1A (A-dock Bahia Mar and Los Olas ) for 14 years. Mahi is actually the name Hawaiians used . Because people started flipping out saying "Dolphin" they thought it was Flipper (Way before your time) and TH-cam the name changed via fishing Florida. I wish you both the very best. With the media you have, you will ROCK South Florida Fishing. ... When I say I know South Florida, I still have connections to Gray's Taxidermy. ( Take a pic, release, and get a mold of a memory) You girls have a bright future ahead of you.

    I found your videos about a month ago and have enjoyed them tremendously. I look forward to seeing more, although sometimes I cant seem to get the new ones on You Tube.
    I would love to see how you use the dehooker. I’m. new at fishing and anything would help.
    You guys should do live clases on your boat and teach and apply your knowledge to people like me.
    Thank you

One could go on about being attractive without flaunting it, mention your great personalities and so on but the truth is, you are both entertaining and know what your doing. Your videos are well put together and not filled with fluff. Great job and I am looking forward to seeing all of your upcoming adventures. Now you need to start selling SWAG. I recommend bunker branding for all your merch needs.

    Some folks call small mahis “green hornets” and in the Carolinas we rank them by size as peanuts, slingers/bailers, gaffers and slammers. You do good work with your videos captains and the live pinfish take on this one was pretty cool.

    Hello Ladies, thank you for video. Also I would recommend to try is spray fish with hot water appox. 70 celsius and peel off the skin. I tried with salmon and works great. Idea is to cook a bit just the skin so it will disengage from the meat very easy. temperature may vary a bit depending on fish size and type.

    How far out do you usually go/what water depth are you in looking for mahi?

    • @GaleForceTwins
      @GaleForceTwins  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Every day is different but we usually start keeping an eye out for mahi and birds in around 200+ ft of water but seriously start looking in 600+ ft of water. Some days we have to go 20 miles to 1000 ft

    The best time to go shrimping is now squid and shrimp and octopus make sure you use lots of cold and lanterns I'll use it about 50 Coleman gas lanterns make sure you get your gigging sticks just in case you see a flounder but start getting the cast that's ready a lots of shrimp milk lots of hundred feet of water lots of traps I put out and just wait and lots of cast Daddy make sure you wait your traps down with a bless cinder block if you don't want him to drift off line them up in a row and start dropping them with cat food and red clay mix and and just wait and pick them back up and you'll have your things full of shrimp and when you cast that don't don't stop casting show them up and just wait lots of rock shrimp lots of shrimp and lots of squid you know how you like your squid and octopus lots of lanterns gas lanterns the more light the more fish the more shrimp shrimp rock shrimp squid mullet catfish
