Water quality must be good. Keeping ammonia and nitrate at 0 and ph slightly acidic at around 6.5. Lots of moss for grazing and supplement with algae wafers and boiled spinach. Have fun breeding them.

A good de-chlorinator that removes heavy metals is fine. These shrimp are very easy and very adaptable!! I have had them years in PH 8.2

For shrimp tank, we usually keep pH between 6.2 to 6.5. NO3 is kept below be at 5ppm.

oh and cherry shrimp have no color in the wild but in captivity they can be all sorts of colors
Actually, they are brown and gray. Those are colors.
Sorry, I'm not sure about how their offsprings will be like. Our Rili is now at S$3.00 each.
