- Caridina dennerli is one of the most amazing shrimp in our hobby. It is no breeding form but from the wild. Their natural habitat is at the Indonesian island of Sulawesi.
View "dancing dennerlis" and get some advices to keep and breed these shrimp.

these little guys are even harder to keep alive comparing to Crystal Red Shrimp, very delicate

How do you get the algae to grow on the rocks like this. Did you introduce it to the tank? I keep these shrimp, are very healthy but would love that kind of growth to make them happier.

How do you keep your PH stable ? My tank keep dropping the PH day by day, best to use filter water or tap water ? Thanks
lol do you have these shrimp in your tank? to get the PH and water harness higher in freshwater aquarium you can add dead coral or certain type of substrate. Using PH rasing chemical is also a choice. My Tap water have naturally high PH so PH and water hardness is not a problem for me.
My tap water has PH 8,2, KH 9 and GH 18. Do i need to use remineralize salt? OR its good if I mix 50% RO water and 50% tap water. Then i get KH 6 and GH 9, PH 8. its that good water parameters for Caridina Dennerli Sulawesi Cardinals?

You are right, there is almost identical, but much bigger and unrelated schrimps in reef tanks.

My guess is your thinking of blood red shrimp which go for $30-50 each. I once owned a pair. You can only keep a pair because the alpha male will kill the other.

i have the same kind of shrimp ... but they always hide when i come to close.... i think about to add some car foil, or something else.... so they cant see me. Does anyone has made experience with that trick?
