- How to connect the Behringer UCA-222 interface to a Xenyx 802 to your computer for recording or sound processing
It's getting hard to find these interfaces but there are a lot of other options out there.

Why can't you just go rca to rca from the record out on the mixer to the rca in on the usb interface? Which I am going to try to do when my Uca222 comes tomorrow?
ardith conley you can. In my case, when I did it that way I had interference noise for some reason. The way in the video resulted in cleaner sound. Let us know if you have the same problem.

it should work connecting the camera to the CD/Tape RCA outputs

I have some question. How can i record a music video with that audio interface?? What i was trying to say is. Can i record a music video simultaneously? Using pc, audio interface and DSLr camera?
you would have to have an output sound from your recording device to the mixer (or just use an external microphone directly to the mixer) for the music/audio. Then you have to combine the video and music in your video editing software. As far as I know there is no way to do it directly into the video.
I just wonder how would I have the sound through the monitors if I use the Main out to connect to this device?) Can I just use the RCAs for both inputs/outputs?)
In this setup you can connect the monitors to the computer’s 3.5 sound out and set playback to “speakers” on the recording software
Hi, where do you download the software for the xenyx 802? I can't find it anywhere on the Beringher software download site, there's the 'Q802' but not the 802. Thanks
I didn’t download any software from Behringer. I just use Audacity

I'm having an issue using an XLR adaptor 3 pin to rca. It gives out a light buzzing sound while recording a concert. @1:51 will rca to qtr inch solves this issue rid the buzzing?
It should work better than RCA unless there’s something else causing the problem
I have a Roland Boss BR1600 and I sing on a program called SingSnap. SingSnap doesn't have all the effects I need so I want to connect my Boss BR1600 to my computer so I can sing with effects... my question is HOW? By the way ... my computer does not have a mic input... only USB and HDMI

Thanks, the only problem I have now is trying to get phone calls through the 802 and UCA-222 using the iRig 2. Can you help...great video.
Sorry, haven't tried that. Check your audio software to see what options you have for incoming phone calls. One option is that if phone calls can be routed to your sound card, then you can run a cable from your sound card out to a channel on the 802. I've also seen setups where there is an adapter from the phone to the 802 (mixer)

yes, you can do it the same way. You can also use the CD/tape out (or 2 track out on the 502) as your output instead of the Main.

use this same setup shown here and just connect the output from your cassette player to one of the channels. Play it using the software in your PC (I use Audiology) and then save the track as MP4. There are some videos out there that explain the software side of it. I'll try to make a video on how to do it if I get the chance. Thanks for the sub

as far as I know, the USB is the sound interface so sound goes to your computer from the mixer, not to input sound to the mixer.

I had tried using the same.. but it gives so much hiss and noise.. even when i record from soundproof room.. don't know why? Any specific reason?
I had a noise problem when I used the rca out connections. No noice if I used the 1/4” main out connection

I have exactly the same mixer and same audio interface and I got it from your recommendation however I can't record stereo. When I try to record my guitar connected and my voice from mic both are in same track

It’s an interface, you connect it to your computer with a USB and the DAW will detect and record each channel separately. You can use it as both a mixer and interface but works best as an interface
We can use Xlr microphone connected to the mixer to sing and record Smule or Karaoke?
Yes, it will record everything going through the main mix

It depends what you want to do and what kind of guitar but yes, you can record guitar by either using a microphone in front of an electric guitar amp, connecting the guitar amp out to the mixer or using a mic with an acoustic guitar.

The only real difference that I know of is that the UCA222 has a digital optical output and the 202 doesn’t

I think so, I have never tried the ufo202 but there are some articles comparing the two. The UCA222 has worked really well for me

I’m not familiar with your mixer but I think it has 1/4” output so you would need 1/4” to RCA cables

What makes the another output under the Phanthom butten
phantom power is only to provide electricity to condenser microphones. The RCA connections above it are to connect to an external analog recorder such as a tape deck or even a CD recorder.

They serve completely different purposes. You CAN get the 802 USB version with integrated interface but this one is not it. This particular interface has absolutely no mixing capability. Other interfaces do. Google mixer vs interface

I would like to see the complete set up. You've talked and pointed too much but am non the wiser how the behringer works.
just watch my other videos on how to set it up or one of the many other videos showing how it works. The description clearly says it is to show where the connections go for the interface. Nothing less, nothing more.

you say you can record karaoke from the mixer using the interface but how can you do that without the microphone picking up all the background noise ? I bet you have to wear headphones to avoid that.
