For the cargo transfer failed the work around seems to be selling in parts. For example you had 16 SCU of Agricium and probably if you sold it 14 and 2 it would have gone through ok. The discussion is still out on if you can always do n-1 or if you need to split more in the direction of half-half. And if you have the space, directly onto the grid works better than on top of other cargo. Problem might be in the sequence of sales where if you sell the container on the bottom that is on the grid it disconnects the container on top (as it is not automatically lowered to the grid) and then the free floating boxes mess up the transaction. That is why stacking the same goods on top of eachother goes smoothly as they are all part of the same transaction and dissapear at the same time.

I typically always include a multitool with a tractor beam attachment in these kits, some medical supplies, and whatever else might best fit the use-case.
There is 1 broken thing about this that i've found over the last couple days. I've been taking risky 10k contracts, and when i appear to my wreck there's ~6-7 other ships visible at any time. From my exploration i've come to conclude that those are other ships that are to be looted by other peoples mission. Because sometimes they're open and sometimes they're full still. So i may take a 10k corsair but then roam around the field and open 2 c2s and a couple MSR's too. so 10k and you end up with 4-5 ships to loot.... its a bit busted to do imo.
@Farrister, the bug with cargo is if you stack two different kinds of cargo on top of one another! So when filling up your grid make sure to only stack boxes of the same type on each.
The bug happens with the same cargo stacked on occasion too... initially I thought it maybe caused by smaller boxes on top of larger ones, but if you cant sell the whole stack in 1 go it can happen, it happened 3x this weekend before the penny dropped.. wierd thing is it doesnt always happen so i suspect its a server side issue

I have a feeling the reason why the drugs appear so commonly in large containers, is because the devs forgot to put a rarity weight on container sizes when they added the new container sizes. You can tell that drugs still spawn at the same rate they do when you don't take that into consideration. Which means this will likely be heavily nerfed in the future. Though as you, like me, are doing non-drug cargo, you probably won't be hit as hard.
Should I take the salvage contracts under the personal tab? I only ever see 2 under the general tab and they’re all for small fry’s like avengers Also where’s is there a wiki or something where I can find where to seek which kind of resources? I’ve been playing for years but never actually tried to actually make any money so here’s my shot
If you compete a couple of contracts from regular tab with a Vulture or Reclaimer, salvaging them until they have no salvage left, you unlock the higher tiers
Small question, can you put the big containers on ships like the Connie or not. Is it just the big ships like the C2 that can hold big containers even if it technically can fit in smaller ships
all connies can slap 2 big container/32scu, and all hercules, no other ship can, but others can carry without securing it to the ground with no problem, for example the mercury can carry up to 3 big container easily corsair can carry 2 etc...
I bought my c2 by taking 2 32 scu containers at a time. It takes 3 times longer to sell, but it makes good money still. The risky salvage missions might be tough though, with the time limit.
You can actually get 2 32 SCU containers into an MSR, it won't click on the grid, but you can still sell it. It will register as a single unit, but will sell for the value of all 32 SCU.

Is the game even still playable? I only checked in recently for 30 minutes to see how 3.20 is and it looks like CiG is screwing up more and more things in this game. Armor parts were misaligned, ship HUD looked blurry, replaced Port Olisar with a standard space station like there are already 20 that look the same, etc. etc. and still nothing new that makes SC somehow worthwhile playing.
Just make sure you take advantage of this until CIG nerfs this gameplay loop so far into the ground it'll be in the core of the earth. I made 30 million Auec in 3 days.
Advice in regards to you "owning" the M2... Sadly, we all own nothing. If CIG evaporates or shuts down for any reason, we're right back to the original JPegs...

What are you saying? Do not take any of the garbage. Corundum, quartz, iron, copper throw that crap out. It just takes up space in your ship that you can use for other good cargo. You try and take multiple missions in the same area and fill your ship up with only the good stuff. This is not a very good tutorial.
do i REALLY need to wear a helmet when going into zero G? it always ruins my haircut! the fail to sell comes from putting stuff on other stuff. never put box with Stuff A on a box with Stuff B. Always put A on A, B on B, C on C and so on.
Not every cargo ship is a gold mine. You do get quite a bit of "loser" ships with crappy cargo. Also, use your ship guns and shoot the door a few times, it will auto open. do not stack different materials either. its going to bug when you go to sell.
@@Farrister agreed. It’s way too easy to make a lot of money. They will probably just make the high values stuff a lot more rare to find. Especially Maze. I had $4.5 million worth of Maze on one 30k salvage mission.
Probably not. The hangar should (according to Q&A) be sized to accomodate XS ships (snubs basically), maybe a bit bigger. And you cannot load ships into the Cargo module (you can theoretically, but only if they fit through the door to the hangar or the lift). These are of course subject to change, but I still think fitting a Vulture is unlikely.

Right click and open on undersuit, otherwise as it was in your hand when you died it dropped off and wa lost.
Just last night I was playing with some friends and one of us randomly died while walking around a station. I haven't had it happen to me yet but it's got to be frustrating!
my man is so upstanding he saw 2.8mil of maze and said nah im good XD
Might be worth looking at the jurisdictions in your journal, some of those drugs mightve been legal in that part of the system.
I recognise the Imperators law, wherever I go xD
A final summary of aUEC earned for time spent would have been invaluable?
the bug is fixed for different crate?
I have a feeling the reason why the drugs appear so commonly in large containers, is because the devs forgot to put a rarity weight on container sizes when they added the new container sizes. You can tell that drugs still spawn at the same rate they do when you don't take that into consideration. Which means this will likely be heavily nerfed in the future.
Though as you, like me, are doing non-drug cargo, you probably won't be hit as hard.
Very nice.
You should consider backing up to the ship. The back door is bigger and you don't have a ship gun in your way.
Should I take the salvage contracts under the personal tab? I only ever see 2 under the general tab and they’re all for small fry’s like avengers
Also where’s is there a wiki or something where I can find where to seek which kind of resources?
I’ve been playing for years but never actually tried to actually make any money so here’s my shot
If you compete a couple of contracts from regular tab with a Vulture or Reclaimer, salvaging them until they have no salvage left, you unlock the higher tiers
@@Farrister got it thanks for the response and the video too 👍
Small question, can you put the big containers on ships like the Connie or not.
Not even two weeks later after Farristers guide they patched it in 3.21
Entirely expected!
Same thing happened to me my character died for no reason i respawn run back to location and my pyro tool disappeared got in ship to take off and 30k happened now my c2 is around magda and ive not been able to find it so i gave up grabbed my m2 to try again get a good ship get it loaded took one more job and on the way to the salvage job a invisible asteroid killed me and i swear when the screen went black i seen a evil smiling face for just a split second i think cig is trolling me i haven't played in a few day days every time i try to do one of these jobs something happens
Wow you love the sound a yer own voice
You sound like my wife
@@Farrister lmfao m8 sorry :P
So far my personal record for a single mission was 8.6m haven't had anything higher yet.
22.5million from 1 c2 yesterday loaded to bursting with maize and quant
@@cajjono2848 off of multiple contracts or just the one? i had 5 contracts worth of shit loaded up and got scanned by security and lost everything while i was moving stuff lol
yeah every time I go take something interesting I get scanned so I don't bother any more
'interesting' xD
While I do enjoy your content, dunno what happenned to your mic but you may want to consider buying a pop filter x)
Why can't legal players drop off the drugs to a law enforcement Station for a reward?
You could actually sell the maze legally with a specal contract where you was giving the authorities all the maze. Me and my buddys even ahd one C2 with 220 maze on it but it was fucking bugged XD
381738 to 480349..about 100k..another 100k + - for Quantanium..
600k for the quanta
yes but now it is farming giant head time, must farm those giant heads
Is the game even still playable? I only checked in recently for 30 minutes to see how 3.20 is and it looks like CiG is screwing up more and more things in this game. Armor parts were misaligned, ship HUD looked blurry, replaced Port Olisar with a standard space station like there are already 20 that look the same, etc. etc. and still nothing new that makes SC somehow worthwhile playing.
It's so easy to go G-capped now :(
Just make sure you take advantage of this until CIG nerfs this gameplay loop so far into the ground it'll be in the core of the earth. I made 30 million Auec in 3 days.
Go for the C2, M2, and Mercury contracts, they carry the most.
Already done lol
Advice in regards to you "owning" the M2...
Sadly, we all own nothing. If CIG evaporates or shuts down for any reason, we're right back to the original JPegs...
This might get me back into SC after being stuck on Starfield haha
Sorry to hear that, i get ya, Starfield is sh*t, so stale and plodding, no immersion. Hoping on the F76 patch.
C2 is king in this loop more room.never mix up your product its a guaranteed fail at the terminal.
well enjoy all when is up, this cargo runs was a treath that SCI give us until the economy team start working. then RIP all our money afther the economy updates will be release. you can farm, but everthing will be lost before the 4.0 release.(1 year)
What are you saying? Do not take any of the garbage. Corundum, quartz, iron, copper throw that crap out. It just takes up space in your ship that you can use for other good cargo. You try and take multiple missions in the same area and fill your ship up with only the good stuff. This is not a very good tutorial.
It's not supposed to be a tutorial!
do i REALLY need to wear a helmet when going into zero G? it always ruins my haircut!
the fail to sell comes from putting stuff on other stuff. never put box with Stuff A on a box with Stuff B. Always put A on A, B on B, C on C and so on.
Hahaha. And yes, I didn't have a tractor beam to rearrange things :(
Nom nom nom?
I can only apologise, HK47
Once they stop wiping the servers then this might be enjoyable. Personally I don't care for building up my funds only to see them disappear.
That's fair, each person has different objectives for their gameplay :)
That's not going to happen for years, to much important tech needs implementing over many builds.
Not every cargo ship is a gold mine. You do get quite a bit of "loser" ships with crappy cargo.
Also, use your ship guns and shoot the door a few times, it will auto open. do not stack different materials either. its going to bug when you go to sell.
Nothing quite like hitting it big with 200scu of tungsten!
@@aniyn lol. i got 1 C2 with 140 scu of bexalite. i was going to dump it, not realizing how valuable it was. thank goodness i didnt
i am like you no crime sats for me lawful all the way
Lost me at M2😂😂😂
:( poor M2
Funny you mention David Attenborough. To the uncouth American ear, your speech pattern and tone are not very far removed.
Well I'm taking that as a massive ego boost for the day :D
20:30 bugs like this stops me from buying this game
you died from desync. the box hit you according to the server.
This is going to be nerfed in 3.21 I think
I wouldn't be surprised, it feels like it isn't the intended way for this loop to play
@@Farrister agreed. It’s way too easy to make a lot of money. They will probably just make the high values stuff a lot more rare to find. Especially Maze. I had $4.5 million worth of Maze on one 30k salvage mission.
Perhaps you died as a result of 30K anxiety....
Why would you not do vice cargo? It’s free money in a game where no one cares 😂😂😂
I don't know how this is "fun"
Thankfully Farrister isn't you. Which means he has no responsibility to play anything "you" think is fun or not.
Do you think a vulture would fit in a rsj galaxy Cargo module bay? 🥺🤏🏻
RSI*
Probably not. The hangar should (according to Q&A) be sized to accomodate XS ships (snubs basically), maybe a bit bigger. And you cannot load ships into the Cargo module (you can theoretically, but only if they fit through the door to the hangar or the lift).
These are of course subject to change, but I still think fitting a Vulture is unlikely.
@@quuaaarrrk8056 hopefully the lift is .. huuuge 😅
