Not that its an issue, but when the ball passes the sensor, the sweep should drop; not sit there for 2-5 seconds then drop. I'm sure they get a lot of deadwood.
This place used to be Brunswick Tri-City Bowl, the only Brunswick Zone center uses AMF 82-70's. Also I suspect these 82-70's are running with an 82-90XL Chassis because aside from the late sweep drop, you can eliminate the time delay between the sweep drop and the start of the cycle
Yeah I heard about these. Sometimes they are called 82-70XL because it's still an 82-70 but they are running with a Chassis from the 90XL. I would be these are refurbished pinsetters.
@@Greggys10Pins I wondered if the mechanics and the owner(s) of this center watched my videos and they're be like: "we're gonna run these machines just like SM Bowling did". I appreciate their decision
I'm a mechanic at a independent Bowling Center in phoenix. Those sweeps are coming down way too late after the ball has landed in the pit. This house may still be using the cushion micro switches instead of sensors. Also, if the machine cycles and does not produce pins, that is a sign of a table jam. You should not hit the button in those instances. That button is a recycle button, not a repair button. That being said, 10 minutes is far too long to wait for a ball return. Bowlero centers are not the greatest.
Some are thinking (like myself) that it might be a chassie they are using. All the lanes were doing what mine was doing. As for the reset, I was not mashing on the button like people think I was doing. I have pushed the reset button before and not had an issue.
@Greggys10Pins no personal attack intended. I agree with you. The Avondale center does still use curtain wall chassis as opposed to on deck chassis. That is serious old school there. 😁
@@DarksladeDiaries I know sometimes it can also be a scoring system sensor as well. Like the Qubica ones, those are on the mounted with the camera. If I remember, the first one is ball speed and second one is the cycle trigger.
Bowlero is going to fail as a corporation. Book it. They take over a place and triple all concessions. They also double what other alleys charge. The Bowlero in my city charges 15.99 for unlimited bowling. Other alleys charge 9.99 and have better concession prices
You nailed it. Bowlero in Toledo continuously fails. Last night (league night), at least 25 reset of score, numerous reracks, and stuck balls. I'm committed to finishing this league. But never again spending money in this house. Oh...the arcade was great. (Sarc)
Stated in a previous comment, I didn't see the issue at first until after the second ball was thrown. Those extra bowling balls back there were from someone else on the lane before me.
Oh man! The ONLY competitive bowling alley in my city is much worse AND 9 dollars a game. To top that, the ball returns gouge our balls and have caught fire twice in 2 months with me using them. So it must happen a bit or I'm very unlucky. I've had to threaten management that I was going to start oiling my own lanes, because they weren't being done at all.

Someone mentioned that they could be running an different chassis system which is causing that delay.

6:03 fail due to pin in the table
Sometimes it clears itself after a few resets. Not this time though.

$7.50 per game??? Screw that action.
I known other places to be worse, but I understand. Keep in mind that I was also bowling on a holiday so...yeah....

Yeah, they are known for raising prices twice in a year.
Bowled league on 12 and 13 . Lanes 10 and 11 also 14 and 15 were broke down...smh
At this center or a different center?
$7.50 per line? That's going to be a "No" from most non-casual bowlers.
Yeah, I wasn't too happy with the price either. Plus it being Memorial Day, they will charge a holiday rate just to make more money.

The first ball return issue should have been reported earlier, not after 4 or 5 balls were stuck.

What ball are you throwing?
Strike Ball: Honey Badger Extreme Pearl
Spare Ball: Storm Polar Ice
can't wait to start league here next month
Yet Another Mechanical Failure
Indeed

at 1:05 you see a problem so you do the idiotic thing and keep bowling
In all fairness, I was distracted with talking to the people bowling on my left and didn't notice it until after the ball was thrown.
