I think the modern Russian military follows a similar strategy to the American strategy, the Americans are not 100 percent quality, but they are not north korea either, they are a in between, like the Americans i think the Russians follow a similar strategy, correct me if I'm wrong im not the most educated person on the Russian military.

From overseas Americans seem to be pretty much of a military standard. Nowadays American army can beat any other army in the world (even Chinese, imho), if they fight just one on one.
Russian army is a very mid-tier army that is barely good'nough to fight smaller slav countries. It could be much better if russians were as tough as their wanna-be tendencies are. Hard to explain everything in a small talk, especially when you're not from ex-ussr (to understand some tricks of local mentality), so just trust me.
