Excelentissimo! Could you imagine that a young Gerald Albright performed "Impression" on tenor 🎷 LIVE at Bird Land, Ca. It was late '80's, or early '90's. - I think. His was robust, more a la Stanley Turrentine. Frahm has lots of 'Trane and Michael in his Body and Soul; cat can make that horn "bark". Encore! Encore! Encore!
@@tomscott1741 Criss Potter is one of the best. But, I reiterate. Chris Potter could never compare to Joel Frahm. I don't agree about the other way around. But, to each his own. My two favorite tenor players are Joel Frahm and Johnny Griffin. In that order.
@@tomscott1741 Bla Bla Bla. Technical technical. Why the hell are you trying to convince me as to who is better or to who I like? By the way. You stated that you transcribe "these peoples"solos. Are you making money by doing so, and if so, are you paying the artists for profiting on transcribing their work? You know that legally you have to of course.
@@tomscott1741 Are you in any way profiting by transcribing the music of these artists? If so, are you paying them what is legally due to them? I guess you didn't see that the last time I asked you.
Coltrane would have been impressed!!! That cat can flat out play! Bravo Mr. Frahm
I just imagined Coltrane sitting in the audience. He'd definitely be digging this.
Beautiful Coltrane rendition, amazing playing Mr Frahm thank you

It was a fckin' good jazz workout, Frahm is a Beast
Amazing, Genius.
What a rhythm section!!! 🔥🔥🔥
he’s got the cleanest line
Wow! Nobody had to beg him to practice.
I want to see a cutting contest between Frahm and Potter
Frahm. I like Potter, but let's be honest, he's no Joel frahm and never will be.
@@tonys4396 Agreed!
