Ran an Engcon in NYC on a 309 doing utility work (gas/electric). First week on it I looked like a had never run a piece of equipment but after a few weeks it was amazing what you could do. It allowed us to work right beside a 10 wheeler as you could rotate the bucket into the bed without spilling . This meant we could keep lane closures to a minimum. Digging around existing utilities was so much easier as you can put the bucket at any angle. 52 year laborer with me hated it at first but became a fan when his workload decreased.
As soon as I saw the thumbnail for this, I thought of the video for Fodere 2. It is a self-built tilt rotor wheel loader. While expensive and heavy< I think it would be nice to have a thumb integral to this bucket for placing rock and stuff.

For guys new to excavators. I bought a 57 with zero experience. None. Get two hydraulic lines and a bunch of different/fancy buckets rolled into your financing. My machine only has one with a selector valve. Changing over to the bush hog is laborious and prevents using something like that tilt bucket easily. YT channel LetsDig18 has the proper setup on his Yanmar mini. I should have gone with that setup and an KX-80 in hindsight.
I have a question, but it has nothing to do with this video. I purchased a B2601 1 year and 8 months ago, and it was to come with a backhoe. I'm still waiting for the backhoe and can not get any info on if they will ever be available. I'm just wondering if you have any info if the backhoe is still available to be put on the B series tractor. Do you know what the delay has been if they are still available. I think I have been very patient but I'm in need of this attachment. I have spent around $2500 renting equipment and paid someone to do work for me that this backhoe could have done if I had it. Any insight would be appreciated.
I'm 5th on a list, and I have been told it has now grown to over 15 people who are waiting. My dealer told me they are one of the top 10 dealers for Kubota equipment sales. He has told me that he does not have any idea what is going on, and Kubota will not tell him if the orders will be filled. I did a 50-hour review of my B2601 and was very positive about the tractor and my dealer. BUT, I was very disappointed that in over 8 months, Kubota could not give any indication on why the delay or when I might see it. Now, a year later and I still do not know anything. Yes, I have become a disappointed Kubota owner. Don't get me wrong, Kubota has a much better tractor for the money, and their loaders work much better than the Deere. I just would be great to have the complete package I wanted. Anyway, thanks for the info. It is more than my dealer will or can tell me. BTW, I do enjoy your videos.
Hello Niel, you can order the same system from Engcon Steelwrist and SMP, we have it on various excavators, but if you want to know more about this, I would go to Pladdet Netherlands, they sell SMP and have already done a lot with tiltrotators with 4 hoses. They also sell beautiful demolition sorting grabs that might also be interesting for you to sell

@@MessicksEquip If you buy an excavator with a tiltrotator in the Netherlands, you can buy the cheap version, which comes with 4 hoses (2 functions) and a 12/24 V wire that only provides power when the quick coupling of the tiltrotator has to be released. This is a special switch with safety catch or push button so you can mount it directly on the machine but also via a quick coupling and it works just like in your video but with a more compact tiltrotator this is possible with all well-known brands of tiltrotators
Ya, it kinda depends on the size of your Ex. The 8T to 12T mini's are $10K to $25K for the t-rotater, while the 19T to 24T Ex are $30-$40K depending on brand - local quote. If you don't need the rotate, the tilt l-only is 1/3 the price
@@MessicksEquip Mike Morgan, in a recent vid, demo'd the Mondoattachments excavator tilt bucket. Mike said the tilt bucket was around $4k. He also mentioned the tilt and rotate bucket from another manufacturer was around $40k. Please clarify.

I've seen videos on these tilt rotors used in Europe. Operator made a difference but wow! Amazing what it can do.

We have a dozen in stock now. There are still a few places with backorder problems, but this is not one of them.

How does having the extra joint and length affect your breakout force?
It's crap. That's why easy removal is so important.

We sell Engcon also. Its amazing stuff, but it is 3x the price of this setup.

@@donbrutcher4501 This is a tilt and rotate, at under 20k. Mike is correct that there are manufactures asking 40k, this setup is not.
