In all seriousness, I couldn't get this while recording footage for my video, I had to use magical video editing :P This would be a 1/1000 chance (since the initial fun value is skipped so it's just 3 10%s in a row) but that's still pretty rare!

Matt Parker invented a way to determine if an unlikely outcome can plausibly occur even once.
First, take the odds of this event occurring (1/100,000).
Next, multiply by the number of seconds in the timeframe where this event has been possible. The earliest version where it was possible to get a fun value of 66 without hacking was v1.001, released on Jan 12, 2016. This video was uploaded on Dec 6, 2023. That comes out to approximately 249 million seconds. If it were possible for a human to attempt this feat every single second without breaks or sleep, the event in this video would most likely occur 2490 times for that one person.
Next, we need to divide that number by the average number of seconds that it takes for a single attempt. In this case, I'll assume that the player is just playing casually, doing a leisurely playthrough once a day every single day. That's once every 86,400 seconds. For this player, the events of this video would occur 0.0288 times. Or rather, there's a 2.88% chance of a Triple Gaster happening after playing once a day nonstop for 8 years.
However, we're not interested in the odds for a single dedicated player; we're interested in how often the collective Undertale fandom could encounter the Triple Gaster. So let's multiply by the number of players, on average, that have streamed Undertale over the past 8 years.
By my calculations, if every single day over nearly 8 years, an average of 35 streamers stream one playthrough of Undertale each, one of those streamers will probably encounter the Triple Gaster once. And given how popular Undertale has been, the actual number of streamers playing Undertale each day is probably in the hundreds.
TL;DR: Yes, it is entirely plausible for a Triple Gaster to occur in the wild without luck manipulation. It's incredibly rare, but someone out there was bound to hit the jackpot.

@@tetrisbit Nope, by the description we can guess that he already loaded fun 66 file(or just edited the value), so we can remove 1% chance for the fun value. We are left with 10% of door appearing. 1 door is 10%. 2 doors are 10% of 10%, it's 1% and 10% of 1% for third door is 0.1%

Yeah. I had to change some values in the Undertale.ini file and f0 file to get the initial hallway to show up. Then I reset over and over to try and chain together the doors appearing.
@@kilroywashere5816You have it backwards, it didn't exist on the very first release (due to a typo) but it does exist on all other releases. It's a 1 in 100 chance per playthrough to get one visit into the hallway, which is what makes the full odds 1 in 100,000 instead of what you hit which was 1 in 1000.
