Thanks man. My QC arrived like 2 hours ago, and I watched a bunch of your videos in preparation. Had to refer back to this one, and I'm sure I'll do the same for the others too. Keep up the super helpful work, dude.
new to QC as well and this is a great video, thank you! would be nice to be able to do this between presets within the "scenes". guess you have combine what you like from other presets and make it into a hybrid
What if you need to switch to an entirely different preset? For example I have a song with a quick clean part with delay coming out of my regular distortion. Can Scenes handle with out the audio gap?
Hello! Switching to an entirely different preset is going to have the audio gap. A way around this would be to have your clean signal chain items on either row 2, 3-4 and toggle for that quick part. Switching presets will always have the audio gap, so you have to get creative with your scenes in order to overcome.
Awesome! I just got my Quad and need to set it up... I used a Headrush previously and found the scene building quite intuitive on it. I usually have a "Patch" per song and scenes for each "sound" in the song. Bummer that there's a sound gap when changing between presets though - that'll be annoying
What you just described is the way scenes work on the Quad Cortex though. Think of each preset as a song. You configure upto 8 scenes, within that songs preset. Which can modify or toggle and settings within that given songs preset, without any audio pause.
@@GaryWrightMusic Correct, my concern lies with the sound gap between Presets. If I'm holding a nice long note and need to get to the next song, there'll be a gap.
Hi Gary, I am about to jump into the Neural family coming from the helix ecosystem, is there a way to keep the LED dimed when you are in the scene mode for all of the scenes and once you go into a scene that LED goes full brightness?
Hello and welcome! I do not believe this is possible by just leveraging settings. You can however, achieve this with midi control signals. Sending a cc to dim and brighten the lcd, in a combo with scene / gig mode toggle.

Truly appreciate the kind words. Just wait for later this week. I have tons of videos coming soon reviewing all the elements of coros 3.0.0!!
