- TH-cam Description: In this comprehensive tutorial, I'll show you how to properly remove and install a new clutch on a Gen 1 Suzuki Hayabusa GSX1300R (2004). Using an OEM Suzuki clutch kit, I’ll guide you through every step of the process, from disassembling the factory or aftermarket clutch, to ensuring the correct order of the fiber disks and friction plates-key for the unique Hayabusa wet clutch system. This is your complete, start-to-finish guide, including how to replace clutch springs, spring bolts, and a new clutch cover gasket. Finally, I’ll test the newly installed clutch to confirm smooth, proper shifting.
Note: This service is for 2004-2007 1st gen.
99 - 03 requires a different clutch kit part number.
Don't miss a detail-this video will have your Gen 1 Hayabusa running like new!

Very meticulous work. Nice job. Are you going to use a DID 530 racing chain?
Thank you Mike
I'm using a JT x ring chain.
