That's actually a very interesting strategy actually I might try that. Also your English is very good! Just remember that the meanings might be a little off in song covers because they need to make it sound melodic in English too, but still seems like a great idea!
I wouldn't have thought that'd be a good way to learn since a lot of literary and non-standard speech is used in things like music. (Also books with high level reading seem to be competitions of how many obscure words you can cram in one paragraph.) What are some of your favourites you've picked up this way?
