Well done good for you, how long did it take you to grow your hair back to the good condition it is in now ?

Just wondering if you were willing to share your "coming out" video again. I wanted to show it to a friend please. It was very brave and inspirational.

Thank you for sharing your story. My 10 year old son has been pulling his eyelashes out till there's none left for about a year now. Teachers and kids are talking about it. He say's he likes the way they feel. Idk though. I've seen him pull his hair out in the front of his head when he gets mad. His eyes look horrible. He says they've even bleed. I don't know if he can overcome this. I'm glad I found a name for this. I hope it don't get any worse. Got any suggestions for a 10 year old boy? Thank you, from a concerned mother.

i developed this in the second or third grade for about a year and then my mother took me to a psychologist and I was able to quit it. However about a year and a half ago (I was 16) I suffered a traumatic incident and started pulling again. I never knew this was actually a thing other people had I just thought I had some weird habit. Good to know I'm not alone!

I just found out that my addiction has a name... I think it's crazy how much in common we have. I also started this in the forth grade. I'm 26 now and my eyelashes look horrible! I use fake lashes most of the time or just color the gaps in with liner. It's embarrassing! I'm trying to fight this on my own, but it's good to know I'm not alone.

I'm 13, I was doing well and didn't pull for 3 weeks, but I relapsed because of stress but I'm taking things easy and trying to regrow then I use castor oil and they grow in a week or 3

Yeah I know it's tough, hair pulling makes me tired and then I get sleepy. TTM patients really don't like pulling their hair out, but any bad habit can be broken. hubpages.com/hub/Trichotillomaniarecovery
