1:17 koreans, as well as most light skin asians need to be educated on India's diversity and the amount of times we were colonised. It is easy for homogenous countries to look down on us and it comes from sheer ignorance. The worst part is it's not just korea who thinks that way. India was one of the richest countries in the world until britain colonised it and it's horrible that other poc buy into the white man's image of us.
Edit: Koreans always say korea is trying to be more "global" but I see that extends only to other east asians and whites. This question was sheer racism.

1:17 The way he said if India was too perfect it would lose its charm. I am definitely proud of this indian man for breaking stereotypes. I seriously felt bad when the person at that part said that Koreans consider Indians Inferior in all aspects compared to korea. Common guys, then Koreans have to educate themselves about India. Indians right now are everywhere and in some huge positions. Let it be Google,PepsiCo, microsoft,Adobe. Kamala Harris the current vice president of USA or the Tata company run by Ratan Tata who is offering jobs to the British in their own country. How come south Koreans forget that heo Hwang ok the wife of their legendary king suro was also an indian. I myself have been very interested in korean culture but I felt heart broken after knowing how they perceive Indians or the image they have of India. I still see many Koreans if asked about India only say curry. Which they might think is normal but feels like mockery to indians. I am not saying that Indians don't have stereotypes about South Korea but definitely not like this. And Koreans do not know that we are still doing great after 200 years of colonisation by the British. Even though Britishers completely utilised india to make the best profits they can we still are one of the biggest and fastly growing economy in the world. We have more than 22 languages,1600 dialects,500+ ethnic groups,8 major religions,29 states with each having its own language (almost all), culture, clothing, cusine. Each state in India is like a new country. India is more than a country. It's a subcontinent. Just imagine to bring so many people who are so different from each other under one roof. Such diversity cannot be found anywhere else other than in india.though we have been invaded by many. They were able to loot our money but not our culture. So never underestimate any country without getting to know about them in detail and their contributions to the world.this is something I would like to say to anyone reading this comment.

The greatest strength of india is diversity.
No foreigner in the entire world can understand how india is still one nation and not many countries. The developed world is talking abt diversity after killing natives around the world. Thus they cant tolerate how a "third world" country can b more diverse than them even tho theu r more globalised. The developed world has globalised now. India has been in globalisation since thousands of years. Thats why, to every country u go, u will find an influence of india. Korea has so much of indian influence in the past.

Korean idols over the years have blatantly copied or desparately found it cool enough to take from black culture. But ask any Korean guy about Black people there will be deep silence.Only a few percentage of people actually like Black people... thats like 0.001% and can think of them as life partners.
Lets talk about cultural appropriation u are right ... from where do we start with this? Wearing Indian cultural jewelleries using Indian gods in a slexual song etc are just one among thousands of horrible racism.. Also making and singing a song called "Curry" song by weki meki to make fun of India and its culture.
I dont think it takes much time to educate yourself.. but i guess Korea has far more superiority complex ..
Shall i tell u how Korea who thinks itself to be the progressive society criticizes everyday about another korean being slightly brown. Shall we talk about how racism is excessively prevalant in Korea ?
U see I can go on and on and on about how progressive u think u are but is actually regressive in every thing ur society does..

India is very rich in culture and diversity compared to Korea. Korea is very homogenous. They don't have diverse cultures of their own. They get the diversity with the immigrants who go over there, but these immigrants aren't citizens or real Koreans. Not every country can have the same aspect of superiority. As an Indian I would say Korea is culturally inferior compared to India, but that will be very disrespectful. It's not good to become arrogant when u reach prosperity.

Foreigners don't want to show India's beauty because we have many things to give them and then we will surely became a tourist destination and that will push our economy and they don't want this. Simple.

@@Sonukumawat23 I have talked to many foreigners(Americans, Russians, British etc.) online over the years and most of them only told me how beautiful and "colorful" India is. I don't know if they were saying it just to be polite but they insisted on it even though I said it's not lol.
