I've interested about Korea for about 5 years but I only know how to write, speak, and read hangeul, and some vocabularies:(( Can u guys give me tips to learn Korean effectively?
The important thing is that she has a Korean husband. When you talk with a native speaker everyday, your speaking and listening will be so good after 1 year for sure. Cause I experienced and surprised. i used to struggle with that language when I am alone.

I wasn't sure how I felt at the beginning of this episode but I'm so happy to see the two of them be an adorable supportive couple. I hope all their dreams come true & look forward to it! Also so glad Kira & her mom got the attention they deserved, I really hope they continue to get the support! Also I've messaged them about John Hopkins that covers all costs to their child patients, I don't know if she knew what I was sending her.

I don’t understand why the mother-in-law was upset that they didn’t tell her the wife was at that show. They don’t have to give an explanation about what they do or not do. As long as both of them know their past and accept it, everybody else don’t matter. The mother-in-law said she should have known so that she could have a response to people if they asked. Ma’am, you don’t owe any explanation to others just how your son and daughter-in-law don’t owe you one either.

I'm sorry to break this to you guys but the little girl is not doing well, as she is in an isolation room, due to her extreme fever. This is according to the Facebook posting on Tuesday. Please pray for the girl. I am happy that at least the mother does not have to worry about her finances. But that's the last thing to worry about, at this time.

I think they are sweet together. The comments about her weight aren't nice. She is a model in Korea, standards are different there compared to other countries, and her husband knows that, therefore he is super supportive and honest.

This might very well be my favorite episode lol they are sooo CUTE together!
at first I thought the husband was very controlling but as I watched I realized that this lifestyle works for them and that they really support each other and help each other get stuff done.
My favorite couple on this program. To the KBS Translator no job is menial(many successful people have taken jobs as restaurant servers). This couple has a goal and they are willing to take any job to achieve this goal. I respect and admire them greatly and I believe they will make it in the long run. MiHo is so different then girls from America or even Western Europe. I cannot imagine an American girl who looks like a model willing to work part time at a restaurant in any part of the world. MiHo is a beautiful woman and appears to be good person. I think she is better than most Korean Girls with comparable beauty. I think more Korean men should look for wives who come from Russia, Ukraine or Uzebekhistan(is that spelled correctly?) because they will simply treat the men better. To KBS, please feature more couples like them.

You right to a point. It kinda depends on girl`s morals. Been to LA and seen some stunning girls refuse underwear ads or being an extra in major films for sleeping with casting guy. Some accept it.

I've noticed some (note the word 'some' but not all) Korean men are quite controlling and criticising. 'you look like you've gained weight' If someone said that to me I would tell them where to go. I don't like that the focus is always on aesthetics. Yes, it's sadly the way Korea is, and it's unfortunate that's what they value most. Trying to be a perfect country, with high societal standards won't work because life isn't perfect, and everything and everyone will always have flaws. It's reality, learn to accept it.

You have to consider that her dream is to become a model, and model can't have a pound of fat. He's helping her to achieve her dreams, since her job is modelling he can't be soft-hearted and allow her to eat whatever she wants.
There are thousands of slim Korean models out there, she can't have belly fat.

Wasting 20k on a wedding is very wasteful, its better you save that money and use it for the future, incase something bad were to occur. Since, they have unstable jobs its very wasteful to spend that much on a wedding.
How bout people do what makes them happy. I agree it's a waste but a lot of things are a waste of money. They earned it... they can spend it however they want. IMO

fakenuggets she'd be model level in the states..She's extremely tall and allot of models aren't even her level of facial attractive. Lots of airbrushing and photo shop to create a good shot more often than not. I think it's more about height and weight for modeling anyway. Just my opinion
She's prettier than a lot of models in the West and is tall so she would do well modelling anywhere.
i really feel like the husband is brought up from a loving family and i love the atmosphere of the family and the way they treated miho is so heart warming.
This mother in law is a nightmare, if you want a wedding you pay for it just like my mother did for me and my husband because she was the one who wanted the wedding to show off to her friends. Ko Miho is now a broadcaster. she seems to be quite famous in her line of work according to her IG. they have a beautiful son now. Gyeongtaek is also there, he is quite funny now. lovely couple.

Annie Nguyen noo America does not embrace all body types for modeling lol. maybe for catalogs or models in websites selling clothes but all runway "High Fashion Models" are 5'8-5'11 and very thin
