I didn't think the vault was that big, then Daniel walks to the back of the room and it changes the whole perspective.
It's not as big as you might think, but it does have some decent space with only two people in it.
I'd estimate 15x20, maybe a few feet bigger.
Daniels for perspective can't mean much with his size.

This really made me wish I had a bottle of classic Laddie in the house. Then again, it's probably good I don't because drinking whiskey at 8 AM on a work day is frowned upon by most bosses.
Rex's mic placement is hurting my soul (and ears) with the swallow sounds. That hug was hilarious. Definitely "just let it happen" vibes.
Watched this video so many times. The pure excitement before ,mystery on what it could be, then experiencing the nose and lastly just giving in to this beautiful nectar on the tasting by Rex is priceless.

Just finished up my semester and came to check in on the boys, glad to see them enjoying a great one today.
I agree with Daniel, I’ve had to opportunity to try some really amazing things from Bruchladdich in my day, but the classic laddie remains a top 5 whiskey for me because of that exact pepper “zest” note Daniel was talking about.
Also, I’m 27 and totally knew the old yeller reference😂

Guardians V3 was definitely an emotional experience. I'm a whiskey lover, animal lover, and a veterinary technician. That film was very special. I loved every second of it as I cried through it.

Daniel prefers the Classic Laddie because he'll now and forever associate the 22 with the Rex-hug (I can't blame him). Also, I'd be curious if Rex still preferred the 22 in a blind tasting or if he's just maximizing his moochiness in the moment.

I've never had anything from Bruichladdich. Since they have soo many expressions im not exactly sure where to start. Maybe the classic Laddie. Also heard a lot of good things about Balvenie double wood.
I did get a peat/smoke flavor in the Laddie 10yo. Possibly barrel char?

Daniel I think you like the classic laddie better because you can taste the grains and the "white dog" more. In the 22 the flavor profile is probably dominated by the taste of the Barrel.
My favorite aluminum free deodorant is EverymanJack Cedarwood scent. I cannot speak to their other scents like Sandalwood as I have not tried them yet.

So I’m kinda confused. If it was a “no age statement” before then how can they do an age statement with it? So is it just some of the older whisky they use in the classic or is even the younger whiskies from the classic laddie now at least 22 years old?
From what I remember the classic had 5 year old barrels

Daniel liking the original Laddie over the 22 is like myself, preferring the 5 year old Ardbeg (Wee Beastie) over the 10. It has all the flavors of the 10, but they are all still separate flavors rather than one cohesive flavor.
The age smooths or all the spikes and rough edges.
Thumbnails a little more avant-garde than usual. If you do a whiskey from Australia remember to flip the thumbnail upside down

There isn't a definitive answer, as it depends on your retailer. Some might sell it at MSRP, others might mark it up.

Rewatch Old Yeller as an adult and you realize the little brother, Arliss, needed his ass whooped thru the entire film. He caused soo much trouble by not doing as he was told. He was in desperate need of a trip behind the woodshed.
I can hand on heart say i will never pay that much for a bottle of whisky £285 /$400 partly because i know it would be wasted on me.

I was born in May 1990, so just turned 33 and I know Old Yeller 😢 Haven’t been able to pull myself together to have my 6 and 4 year old boys watch it just yet because I’m still recovering ❤️🩹😅 (I’m still mending from Lion King as well…)
