Do you find there is a difference between brands of zipper tape? I wonder if a looser weave is more prone to fraying despite our best attempts to keep it to a minimum.

Hi Nicole. The electric, USB chargeable lighters are great for zip ends and thread zapping.

I would not have considered using my pinking shears but I guess it would work in a pinch. 😊

I just use fray check. Never had a problem.
