That's fricken awesome! I watched your video from like 5 years ago with the XR20. Do you still have it? I guess the LPD8 came out about the same time. yeah, don't watch any music related stuff on my channel. I'm just a synth enthusiast. No real talent... just like to dabble. Seeing your very precise spot-on tempo, I realize you are on another level. But I just want to know, is this something that is easy for you, and comes naturally, or was it a result of really hard work over the years to accomplish?

      Hi, thanks a lot!
I don't have the XR20 anymore, I sold it, I noticed that the pads are not pressure sensitive, so they are not too good for finger drumming - but for producing beats it is a great machine. Now I use Akai controllers (they still make the best pads in my opinion) and various software. If you have a sense of rhythm and practice (it's normal to practice), it's great fun.

@@nawyku You know, the first Akai that I (I mean my parents) ever owned was a reel-to-reel machine from like the 70's. It caught my attention of the Akai name... then years later I see these Akai beat boxes.. and even an 80's synth, the AX80. Anyway, the XR20 is doing a great job as a drum machine for me. Thanks for making that video! ;)
