- In ET's exclusive look at TLC's 'The Family Chantel,' Chantel is frustrated with Pedro for making things ‘difficult’ as they discuss an offer they received on their house. Plus, Chantel confronts Pedro for meeting up with an ex-girlfriend. 'The Family Chantel: The Final Chapter' airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on TLC.
The conversation started out good! She was strong about just selling the house. Where she made the mistake is about asking him about coraima. Never show youre weak spot to youre enemy. Its better to talk later on in a save space about it, then to show youre weakness beauty.

He was making more than her as a real estate agent and she was a nurse . Real estate agents can make hundreds of thousands in one month and that’s what he was doing .
How do you know their finances? We don’t how much Pedro put in. Real estate agents make money in large chunks. It may not be a steady income like nursing. But when they do sell they get paid in large chunks. My uncle was a realtor and he made enough money to the point of owning multiple homes in California and most of his customers were Spanish speaking Mexicans. Don’t underestimate others pockets, you just never know.

Did you watch the entire story? Since the beginning of the relationship Chantel involved her entire family in her marriage. They made Pedros life hell. He tried to deal with the drama but it became overwhelming. Chantel refused to grow up. Eventually he got tired of it and ended it. You can't expect a man to put up with such a situation on a continuos basis.

Pedro even said it on the show himself and it was filmed during the show- he and chantels brother and her parents were able to actually build a good relationship, As a matter of fact they had to focus most of season 2 or 3 on Chantels oldest brother and wife from the Philippines because there was no more drama between Chantels family and Pedro. Even Karen started sticking up for Pedro when Chantel and him had problems. Both of their families were too involved but Chantel and Pedro were the ones who kept involving them. Eventually Chantel’s family did accept Pedro.

They were in love for sure, Pedro did not use her. Through watching this season they do have some actual relationship issues. Pedro said in one episode Chantel went on vacation 8-10 times a year, spending 100,000 on vacations a year and going out often leaving him at home. Pedro is a cultured man from a totally different country, it doesn't fit his tradition and that's where they clashed.
