The quizzes at the end really help. We could use more of those on your website!
Yeah, I have a few quizzes on the website but you're right there are topics like this one that could benefit from a quiz 😊
I love how you're able to provide so much useful information in an ideal length of time.
Siempre disfruto viendo tus nuevas lecciones. ¡Muchas gracias Daniela!
¡Hola! ¡Muchas gracias por tus palabras! It makes me really happy to know that you're finding the videos useful 🥰
The quizzes really do help tie everything back together and it gives more to refer back too!
I'm happy you like the quizzes 🤓 I love quizzes for the same reasons you mentioned!
Thanks a lot 😊
¡Gracias a ti!🥰
Excelente!
Queda/quedar is also a hard one for me. Examples: No me queda mas. I have nothing left. Si quieres quedarte hoy que hace frío. If you want to stay today because its cold.
Ufff! That pair is tricky! With reflexive pronouns it can mean "to stay" or "to fit": 'La blusa no me queda o quédate porque hace frío".
1. irse
2. salgo
3. dejaron
4. irme … sale
5. sales … dejas
Hola, Leah. Here goes the feedback:
#1. You chose the right verb, but for this sentence needs to be conjugate in present "siempre se va".
#2. Correct!
#3. Correct! (Most of us are using the present for this, but you could also use the preterite 😉)
#4. Correct!
#5. Correct!
Very well done, my friend! 🙂
Pregunta Uno: Laura siempre se va sin decir adiòs.
Dos: Yo salì de trabajar a las nueve.
Tres: Mis hermanos dejò sus teleféfono en la mesa
Cuatro: Tengo que ir. El tren sale en diez minutos.
Cinco: ¿Por que cuando tù se vas con tus amigos siempre dejas tu celular?
¡Muy bien! Pequeñas correcciones:
#3. Elegiste el verbo correcto, pero la conjugación debe ser plural.
#4. "Tengo que irme..". Here we need to express that we're leaving a place.
#5. Verbo correcto, pero el pronombre es te: "cuando te vas"
1. Laura siempre se va sin decir adiós.
2. Yo salgo de trabajar a las nueve.
3. Mis hermanos dejan sus teléfonos en la mesa.
4. Tengo que irme. El Tren sale en diez minutos. (OH, I THINK I GET IT NOW!!)
5. ¿Por que cuando tú sales con tus amigos siempre dejas tu celular?
Daniela, may I have some feedback whether I need it or not please ?
¡Excelente! 🤓All your answers are correct, my friend. I think you really got it! Did you have some doubts when answering the quiz?
It was a struggle the whole way, but having the quizzes really help to use the concepts in a real sentence. I just need more of that. As you can see, as I was taking the quiz, I had an "AH HA!" moment where something clicked in my head and told me that the sentence made sense. I don't want you to make the videos any longer, they are the perfect length now. I just need more drills. I'm actually studying my notes from the video right now!
@@michaellafrance6454 😂 I saw the "AH HA" moment, but hey, it's good that you had it! Let me know how it goes! These words can be confusing initially, but you'll get them! I find that, with this meaning, 'dejar' is not as tricky as the others. It's 'salir' and 'irse', the ones playing the mind games.
¡Tiene razón mi maestra! No me gusta "irse."
