Hi Alana great to see you back, what a wonderful video great to see you both in the kitchen preparing the berries and laughing and joking together priceless memories, hope everything in the garden is doing well, hope you haven't had the extremely high temperatures we have had here, I've struggled to keep everything watered but everything seems to be doing fine, not be to long before i lift my onions as they are nearly there, great to see another video again take care and stay safe 👍 😊.

So great to see you and your daughter working together! I missed your videos and was worried about you. So happy you’re feeling better. Your jam I know will be delicious, my favorite.

Hi there! There is nothing like strawberry season...so fleeting, that is why I feel so much pressure to eat as many as I can in such a short period of time! 😄

The trick to the Mason jar keeping them fresh is not washing your berries but I also think it might work best on the off season US strawberries out of California that the stores import that are always a bit under ripe.

Hi there! Thank you so much for that tip...I'm pretty sure I washed the berries and I should have known better...no wonder why they didn't last long! When we pick the berries, I suppose they are not a shipping variety, so that also makes sense! Thank you very much my friend!

It appears this year the strawberries are not totally ripe , flavor not very sweet , two major grocery chains , my thought is they are picking but not totally ripe , the hot weather may play a part in America , your thoughts , you can certainly make this canning look easy , thank you , stay safe , enjoy !!

Hi Alana, don't wash the strawberries you put in the mason jars in the fridge. I tried that this year, and they lasted 3 weeks in the fridge! Just wash and clean the ones you take out of the jar, and leave the rest sealed in the jar until you are ready to use them :)

Hi there...thank you very much for watching! Also, thank you very much for the tip...I definitely try it again next year, this time not washing the berries first! Take care and I hope you have a lovely day! 🍓
