Thanks for the review. Cen-Tec Systems here. The Quick Click Separator has a baffle design as noted in the video to separate out fine particulate like dust from sanding or wood working . Bulk material in a building demolition application like insulation can remain above the baffle plate not being able to move though the gap between the baffle and the wall of the cone due to lack of space. To address large debris like insulation the separator can be used taking out the baffle. The application described suggests the goal was not fine particulate but instead large profile debris of all types. A significant volume of such debris will be captured through cyclonic action even without the baffle.
In such instances the commercial vacuum supporting the application will receive fine dust. A vacuum designed for fine particulate separation , HEPA , and or with filter shakers is appropriate.

I bought the clear version One Click for my wood shop and I must say it works great it's like magic. I hardly ever clean the filter now. Very little fine dust get into my shop vac now. I should have bought one a lot sooner! Love it!

I think your using this for the wrong rubbish. if you wanted too suck up more larger rubbish you need more of an industrial vacuum rather than a dust/particle separator.

So basically you didn't understand the purpose of this device. It's in the name "Dust Separator". The entire purpose is to separate out fine dust that would clog your expensive vacuum filter. You even prove that you are using it for a purpose it was not designed for with the ball test you did. It appears the product worked fine, but you just didn't understand its true purpose. Try using this on drywall dust or sawdust and tell me how it works?

I have a part 2 review video that addresses it more. I've been using it for drywall clean up in a commercial construction site for the past month. It still lets a lot of dust through . I would say we have to clean the filter half as often compared to without it. In my opinion this product just doesn't live up to what I expected from it. To each his own and at least now anyone that finds this video will know it only separates things less than an inch.

Had the same problem couple times in my wood shop when using my planer. Guess I don't understand "the purpose" of it either . . . . from their website: "the Quick Click separator has proven effective in both domestic and commercial use."

Its a DUST collector, not a debris collector. Sorry buddy, no one is being saved here.

Ummm . . . .I had this same unit and used it exclusively in a WOOD shop with a large Ridgid shop vac. I returned it after ~2-3 months because I ran into the SAME issue, most commonly when doing planer runs . . . clogging from the shavings. I read the box and instructions . . . . .didn't help. When I did the demo and remodel of our guest bedroom, same issue. I guess the unit isn't designed for a simple DIY home project?!?! I switched to a new Dust Deputy and have not had a clog since. On the plus side, both units keep my shop vac filter clean. They just need to tweek the design a little. I like that it has a smaller profile then most others on the market.

    For concrete dust works great

My guess is that’s why they call it a dust collector?

its a dust separator not a debris separator. Its for dust and small chips. you should have researched before posting this video.

How are you going to recommend for viewers to not buy it when you’re not using it correctly. User error bro. smh.
