    For Hyundai to be able to sell this car for this affordable price, they have to save money somehow, that includes not using the best materials. It’s still a great car and has amazing features as well as good looks. So please cut Hyundai some slack, there is only so much they can do.

    Thanks for a great review! When compared to the non-hybrid Elantra, a driver who drives 12,000 miles per year can expect to save about $50 a month in fuel costs (exact savings will vary, depending on fuel costs in your area). Over the life of the vehicle, that $50 a month really adds up; in fact, it makes the hybrid the cheapest Elantra you can buy. You get all the luxury features of the Limited trim effectively for free, because of the fuel savings.

      the limited trim? How comfortable are the leather seats ? I’m 6ft3 thinking about this car

    • @SaberusTerras
      @SaberusTerras ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Aku112811 The seats are extremely comfortable with a wide range of adjustment options, and heated/cooled. There's plenty of travel for the front seats, and the car by default runs the seat back to a pretty generous distance to get in and out. I have to stretch to hit the brake when I press the start button to turn the car on. This setting has an option to push it back even further, so someone 8 inches taller than me would have no problems, I think.

    Thanks for the review! Purchased mine less than 48 hours ago and already love it. The few small things I don’t love, I can deal with. For $30k, brand new car, higher trim, you won’t get a $60k car with all the bells and whistles but you’ll get a solid and reliable car. Your video helped me make my decision. One thing I don’t remember see is you go into the trunk and lifting up the mat for the spare… I gotta check that next time I go to the car. Other than that, good job on the review!

I almost like it. Just a few things would put it over the top. Most were mentioned during the review. I guess it's the old cliche you can't have your cake and eat it too. The issue is when I think of a car being a limited trim I expect more. This would be better described as deluxe. I'm hopeful they will loose the room divider someday. Just got a 2023 Elantra Hybrid. Great car all in all. One thing that bothers me (and prob just me, cuz Im a nitpicker lol) is they removed the LED brakelights the 2021 model had and it is now incandescent. The actual taillight (part that glows when headlights/parking lights are on) is LED but not the actual brake light. I feel with a bit more investment, Hyundai could've made the entire rear (brakelights, turn signals, reverse lights) full LED like the front. Regardless, great car!
