- Today I'm hanging out with Fran, an expat from Korea who's travelled tons! She's lived in places like Israel and The Philippines before finding her perfect spot in Chiang Mai, Thailand. In this short interview, we chat about her adventures, what it's like to move around so much, and why she finally decided to settle down in Chiang Mai. Fran's story is super interesting.

Fran is such a beautiful soul. Good luck in finding yourself
🙏🙏
Hello Wayne & Fran! She's very well-traveled and has led quite an independent interesting life. Leaves herself open to all possibilities; not afraid to tackle new adventures. An intelligent, put together "knows what she wants" woman! Today's media is very slanted and biased and not above "lying" or "gaslighting" the public. Objectivity is not in their wheelhouse, as most of today's media personalities are not true journalists. I made these comments before Fran stated the obvious on her opinion of the media. Enjoyable and interesting video! Best wishes to the both of you. As always stay safe too.
Thank you Walt 🙏
Am so glad you have interviewed Fran , she seemed very interesting last time you spoke.
Thanks Wayne, and Fran great vlog
Thank you
Hi Fran! Thank you for visiting with us and sharing some life experiences and insights. My brother's wife and her family are from Korean and they share a similar admiration of Israel. My brother's sister-in law married a guy from Israel who works in High-tech and she has remarked about the similarities between Korean and Jewish Cultures.
Good of Fran to interview you Wayne. Thank you both and hope we can join you again.
Nice one Jack 👍
@@WalkAboutWayne Maybe sometime you could continue comparing experiences and how you've changed on a live stream.
Good luck and best Wishes Fran , welcome back to Chiang Mai

Thanks buddy.
If I met a Korean who was raised in the Philippines but spent 30 years in Israel then moved to Thailand, the first question I would ask is: how many languages do you speak? Very interesting lady!
Nice! I guess we all different. Not a question I was really thinking about . I would probably say 4 languages or maybe 3. She’s a nice lady 👍
I speak Korean, English and Hebrew fluently
Currently learning Thai
unique...
🙏🙏
New friend. Sound good
Great Lady 👍
Very nice moment here. Wishing you all good luck Fran. I always admire those with a good mind and an authentic person. See you in Chiang Mai at some time. Be well.
looking forward
Nice one John.
Good interview Wayne. Maybe that's another option on your channel. Why do you think people come to Chiang Mai to find themselves?
Cheers mate! Yeah I could do more of these style interviews. It's not my natural thing, but I enjoyed it. It could be a good vlog about why people come here to find themselves. I've wrote it down for a vlog mate, that will be better.
Hi Wayne, my name is Tobias Schwartz I've been following you for a long time and I really enjoy learning from your videos, I'm 59 years old and intending to move to Thailand with my partner, may I know how old you are? Thanks
Hi Tobias, thank you for watching the channel, much appreciated. I hope you can make the move to Thailand in the future. Let's just say, I'm around the 50 sort of age.
Sorry, cannot find the link to her
