    I just love how this DBXLE is very similar to 8ight 2.0! After really getting a good look at yours i started to notice very very similar setup as my older model 8ight 2.0. DXLE is the bigger version from what I can tell.

    My HPI savage flux has provisions for two steering servos, I opted to switch out the single 30 KG to a single 65 KG, so far so good. Really enjoy your wrenching videos.👍💯

      The stock spektrum servo is trash. It's weak and breaks very easy. Mine didn't last 30 mins before a pin inside the servo bent. That servo might be good for the lighter 5th scales, but not the heavy losi. The servo I'm using now is a JX and it has a "claimed" 1,013 oz/in torque at 7.4v and it was only $60. I ordered it back in may and haven't had any problems with steering.

    I just put the xlx 2 on mine on Monday, ran it for about 15 mins on Tues no problems. Wednesday was the day I was going for a full run. It didn't make it. The negative post on the esc broke, snapped right off. Flat land, no jumps, no rollovers. I'm sending it in for warranty. Depending on if they can repair or send me a new one, it can take any where from 3 weeks to 2.5 months+.

      Yes yes there checking for ripple voltage to see it the wrong motors where used depending on the wind Y wined or D wined D wined will cause really high ripple and short the esc 🙏🔥🔥🔥

      @@earlmoorhead5555 The ripple voltage was low until the end, right when the esc post was breaking and it shutdown.

    Hey Earl the DBXL looks slick I love the sound of that 1100 kv motor it sounds violent. Hey I just got a Losi SBR 2.O in today, I also ordered a 22 23 tooth pinion for it. Have you changed your pinion on your SBR ? if so what sizes worked for you?
    Thanks

    Cool dbxle! Will those adjustable links work with a single servo?

  • @andrewarnold7006
    @andrewarnold7006 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Can you run the 2nd servo off the 3rd channel vs the splitter, seems you would get more power overall to servos?

    • @earlmoorhead5555
      @earlmoorhead5555  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can run an external BEC but not add it to the third channel that will be in sink signal will lag and fight each other

    Would 2 max6 servos fit?

  • @threefingeredrc
    @threefingeredrc 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I’m asking, because I really don’t know. Why don’t people use thermal paste between the motor and the heatsink like what is done with CPUs on computers?
    Thank you for the video.

      The kit with the servo was cheaper then a $100.00 hitec I felt half the load should be better and last longer 👍👍but I did look at them my dbxle has a servox servo and that was $199.00 for a single as well still expensive 👍👍
