Carnival bowl is very pretty. The blue ice cream / dessert nowls bring back so many memories - my Aunt & Uncle had them in clear and they used them for family picnics in the summer time for ice cream. Very easy to store away. 🍨
I think the damage in the bottom of the carnival piece is from having a flower frog glued in and then knocked out later. I've seen similar damage from this sort of thing. Good haul.
My favorite are 1. green AH pitcher (mine is full of ice tea in the fridge - I don’t have the forest green glasses) and 2. green Fostoria fleur de lis center handled tray. Yummy
Hi Scott…I have that same marigold carnival glass, and it comes with a matching base. I was told that it was a “punch bowl’ but I never could figure out how that would hold liquid as the fluting runs deep on that piece. My fave piece on your table today is that celery compote!
I have had the larger example a few times with the matching base. This example is a bit smaller than the punch bowl size. Yes....I've always found it odd that the larger example is called a punch bowl yet just look at the deep side flutes as you mention. Hope you are doing well.
