I'm so glad Alex turned out to be nice enough to make amends and help Maddy out at the end so she can go have the life she wants. I kinda feel bad for him being stuck with Jessica.
Yeah. But even so, at the same time, he probably wishes he never cheated on Maddy. Ugh. The thought of Jessica not keeping it in her pants, and talking about it, is just gross.
Actually, I think Alex was the mastermind behind all this. He did it to save Maddy from an arranged marriage neither of them wanted, stick it to their toxic parents, and teach Jessica that actions have consequences.
I think Maddy should really be happy about all this. Thanks to Jessica not only stealing her husband and her fiance she was able to free herself from such a toxic old-school family that would blame Maddy for what other people did or caused and not those people. Oh it's not the husband's or fiance's fault for going out and cheating on their spouse or future spouse. It's all the fault of the spouse/future spouse for not being woman enough to keep them. I'd be telling Jessica "Thanks for freeing me. Now to fully free myself I'm blocking you once again." Edit: Guess I posted my comment a bit too soon since most of what I put is what actually happened.
My theory with people like Jessica is that they get off on "stealing" SOs from their partners. That's why they don't see anything wrong with what they are doing (or they just don't care what happens to anyone else as long as they are getting what they want), the chase and claiming the "prize" is what excites them. All this does is make their behavior even more despicable 🙄🙄
This is called mate copying mostly seen in wild animals but also displayed in human males and sometimes females they will see a person who is in a gr8 relationship and is like i want that so the female comes and basically steals the male
I have a family member who does it, she sees it like a trophy for every man she steals, "it proves I'm hotter than the wife". Once the guy becomes single, she moves on to the next. If he has money she stays until he's bled dry. She even goes for married men with kids, because if he leaves his entire family, it proves she's even hotter cos he left his wife & kids for her. She literally slept with all my exes, she screwed my college boyfriend while we were still together & still says it's proof she's always been hotter than me. 🙄

I swear I hate hearing antagonists say “Get over it. I took your husband/wife 5 years ago”. Like how would they feel if I killed their mom and after 5 minutes told them to stop crying and get over themselves. Like just because something happened in the past doesn’t mean that everyone is going to get over it. Geez.
God, the amount of times I kept saying "BLOCK HER" is ridiculous lol. Hoping there is a story where the main protagonist constantly blocks the Antagonists or something along those lines.

Things worked out well for Maddy. I love it when the spouse cheater ends up with a crappy person. People in these stories seem to end up shooting their own foot off. lol

I mean she did say it was an arranged marriage way back in the beginning of their conversation, at 22:48 minutes into it exactly. So why is there this big thing at the end about it being arranged? i don't think the writers of these things actually go back and read what they are writing for logic. Also, the tramp makes this big speech about how the guy was taking arisk on his reputation marrying a divorcee with a child, but she has a child as well, but was never married. Why would a person who has a child out of wedlock who gave custody of her child to ex boyfriend, say something like that? it also isn't logical. anyway, the arranged marriage was a twist to the same old story of friend stole husband and now wants new boyfriend or husband. but it still the same story.

Wow blame the victim
Why do they always do that?
oh here we go with ANOTHER man stealer story where they ALWAYS say "it's your fault he cheated in the first place" blah blah blah
First Indian story wow... But same old story..... How very immigrant family.
Mom's voice, huge NO
I mean she did say it was an arranged marriage way back in the beginning of their conversation, at 22:48 minutes into it exactly.
