Really, all they need to do is not file the paperwork they just signed at the ceremony. The vast majority of weddings happen on weekends, so the paperwork doesn't get filed until Monday anyway. Annulment/divorce shouldn't be necessary at all. I mean, outside of the fact that ending this marriage is absolutely necessary for obvious reasons.
How do people not understand that wedding cakes (or any tiered cakes for that matter) tend to have wooden dowels in them that could potentially impale a person when they get shoved into them. UGH!
Aside from the heavy-handed scripting, the word “prank” is always used to cover a multitude of felonies. This story is no exception and its one redeeming quality.
Perhaps it's for the best someone like that is never seen again. I don't see someone so determined to not comprehend their wrongdoings having a place in society.
I'm surprised none of the other brides had those three idiot pranksters locked up in a bathroom until after the wedding and reception were over. (With a big "DON'T LET THE PRANKSTERS OUT UNTIL IT"S OVER" sign on the door).

I'm lucky that it wasn't as bad as what happened in this story.
This kind of confused me. At first I thought she called off the wedding. But they actually got married and the “prank” happened at the reception . Ergo, the divorce.
You want to know how to surprise prank your partner at your wedding? I had the hotel put some hummus out in front of our places at the reception because of a long standing joke between us.
I hope she's ok. I hope Sam sues the pants off those jerks. Wow, Nate. just wow. Good! I'm glad she reported them to the police. What they did was dangerous and Sam could have gotten seriously hurt. Correction: Sam did get hurt and almost fell on the cake knife. What did Nate think Sam would do after what they did? Then, he had the nerves to get mad. Didn't he hear what Sam said? Doesn't he understand the seriousness of what happened? She had to be hospitalized and almost fell on the cake knife. I can't believe Nate thought Sam would still want to be with him after that. Intentions don't mean anything. I wonder if Nate finally understands the seriousness of what He and his friends did. I guess not. Why is he contacting her thinking she still wants to be with him when she is marrying someone else? Nate needs his head examined. I wish Sam wouldn't have told him and blocked him. So what if he still has feelings for her? She doesn't have feelings for him. Nate really did ask what did he do to Sam. I just can't. I repeat Sam needs to get his head checked. It's a shame Nate ruined someone else's wedding.

Good afternoon all, I hope you’re having a nice Wednesday and I’m happy to bring you today’s Apple Texts Shot Mini-Game! Oh wow, this is ... different. Okay let me be VERY clear about any “prank” involving a wedding cake, the ONLY time something like this would EVER be okay is if it’s the bride and groom exclusively and it’s something like a cute little nose-boop with the first cake slice or dabbing some frosting on your SO’s nose, PERIOD! So in memory of the poor wedding cake that went to waste due to the idiot groom and his friends I ask you to get yourself a some cake, be it a tiny fairy cake or a slice of a bigger one. Unlike Nate, today you can have your cake and eat it too (drink optional but recommended)! Cheers ☕️🍰 Stay safe, stay warm, go hug your fur babies and remember: you are all awesome 💙🐱💙
OP can console herself with the thought that Nate is probably spending his days tending illegal crops, not necessarily in the USA. That is, if he is not a pretty boy who will be used in a different way.
When my BFF got married, they didn't tell anyone where they were spending their wedding night because they couldn't trust some of his army buddies. Their most insane prank was to get the groom passed out drunk at his bachelor's party, put him on a train with just a one-way ticket to a place 8 hours away. No cash, bank cards, ID, nada. This was long before PCs & cell phones which meant he had to make collect calls on a pay phone. Luckily, the wedding was 3 days later so he had time for someone to drive to get him.
@@jaclynsanture6643 It was quite a while ago & i doubt he's still in touch with any of them. It never ceases to amaze me how immature men can become & that it seems to be contagious with them. I don’t know if the idiots ever watched a wedding cake being assembled. They insert wooden dowels in the lower tiers to support the weight of the upper layers. Glad OP could move on & find someone better than Nate. I know it said shady loans but for a sec I imagined the wedding he ruined had mob connections which was why he was taken. I wonder what his "prank" friends are doing? Probably either in jail still or released with no future. I was kinda expecting Nate to mention he contacted them for help but they turned their backs on him thanks to the jail time making them finally take shit seriously along with blaming Nate since he gave them the approval that ended with his bride reporting them for assault.
I think that Nate's friends took off in different directions after getting out of jail and to put as much distance from each other to live quiet lives.
We will...assume....that the wedding happened and after the cake attack, that was the End of that marriage...gotta be the shortest in history. Sooooo...what happened to the three other guys that pushed you into the cake, etc? They were arrested, but were they ever convicted and what happened after that? "Assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder'? Just 'assault'? A judge 'could have' not given them a suspended sentence IF there was their first felony conviction...and instead of Probation...given them...whatever the jail sentence would be. Oh sure...they would say 'Your Honor...it was a simple, harmless prank that just got out of hand..and her husband helped us set it up." ....Yeah...woulda been a BIG mistake to stay with him on several levels. Thanks for the Textudrama
This reminds me of the one where the best man pushed the bride into the pool at the reception so she broke her collar bone, the husband decided to go out with his friends and get drunk and joke about it. Only him and the best man found it funny in the end though
With this assault being planned by her husband/fiancé, all 4 need to go to jail as well as pay for all the expenses incurred. Nate is a young teen in a man’s body. Not a good look on him.
If my groom sided with his idiot frat brothers over me, he wouldn't live long enough to see divorce papers. I've seen CSI: Miami. I know you can kill someone with a cake knife.
Weddings are NOT an invitation for pranks. They’re for celebrating the couple period. The groom should’ve respected the bride’s wishes but no. He had the let his friends into their wedding anyway. No wonder why they got kicked out of another wedding they caused problems at.
After this, the whole freaking state needs these guys' pictures up in their hotels, saying that if there is a wedding on the premises, DO NOT LET THESE GUYS IN! They must've been the go-to hazers in the frat at college, then watched "Wedding Crashers" a few times too many. Sheesh.
@@cybercat29 That's optimistic. I doubt those three idiots would get any girl to put up with them long enough to go on more than a handful of dates, let alone get to the altar. Nate got farther because he wasn't in the circle, just the enabler outside.

You LAUGHED at her injuries. 4. You didn't even rush over to her side to make sure she was alright (which she was not). 5. You showed NO consideration for her physical safety, nor her mental & emotional well-being. 6. YOU ARE NOT WORTHY OF BEING A HUBAND, PERIOD.
I think she need not file for divorce since she got married to him before the reception and what happen there. that is what was cancelled since she was in the hospital. but than again she need not file the certificate of marriage and trash the piece of paper. hell if I was her father and never father in law I would take that paper and tear it up in front of my son and tell him and his friends to get lost
They may have had the legal paperwork already filed in the courts (clerk of court, etc...), so in the eyes of the law they were married. The ceremony is essentially just a public confirmation for friends and family - it's not needed for marriage, but many families want it done in a ceremonial venue. The legal paperwork still has to be done near the day of the wedding - either before or shortly after.
Even if she wasn't injured in any way, she was humiliated. That's not a fun prank, that's abuse. She was so smart to call off the wedding and leave that asshole.
Nate, take a moment to at least use whatever you have as a brain for this: if Samantha hadn’t been holding a KNIFE during you and dumb friends “prank”, your wife could have accidentally stabbed herself. @user-ew9di2dh5z it's chilly and we are fixing to get more rain. At least it's not the ice and snow some of the states are getting
Aside from the heavy-handed scripting, the word “prank” is always used to cover a multitude of felonies. This story is no exception and its one redeeming quality.
Nate has an evil laugh. 😂
Karma: Not as evil as MINE!!!
Perhaps it's for the best someone like that is never seen again. I don't see someone so determined to not comprehend their wrongdoings having a place in society.
Same here.
Not even I would allow my best friends to pull a prank on my significant other on our wedding day.
niether would i, and im a woman
I'm surprised none of the other brides had those three idiot pranksters locked up in a bathroom until after the wedding and reception were over. (With a big "DON'T LET THE PRANKSTERS OUT UNTIL IT"S OVER" sign on the door).
I'm surprised they stayed with the husbands unless they didn't know either and were as furious as the brides
Don't need to get divorced get a annulment
They could have filed the marriage license ahead of time.
The vast majority of weddings tend to happen on a weekend, meaning the paperwork they just signed at the ceremony won't even be filed until Monday. All they need to do is not file it.
He's a real piece of work
This was beyond childish Nate was the worst I know Samantha got trust issues & ptsd from what happened to her. The fact they go around crashing people weddings they all need to be in jail!!!
Amazing how a childhood prank ruins a wedding.
that is very true
I do believe you mean "childish".
@@rhondamontgomery3797 that also
With "friends" like them, who needs enemies?
I'm with the bride I had made an agreement with my now ex-husband that we weren't going to shove cake in each other's faces when we cut our slice and my brother's paid him five bucks to do it anyway and he messed up my Jess and my glasses and I was pissed for the rest of the wedding. I'm lucky that it wasn't as bad as what happened in this story.
Nate can marry his manchild friends. He's lucky that she didn't go further than cancelling the wedding and having his friends arrested
i wish op had done so
Guys like Nate are more costly than a damn wedding. I'm glad Samantha kicked him to the curb. I'd move states away, too.
That was the last time anyone saw him 😨 omg.
Yeah 😨
Good night 🌙⏰💤💤 everyone

Good Morning ☀️ It's going to be in the mid 50sF cloudy with a 20 percent chance of rain. Stay safe and warm out there 👋🤗
You live in Baw-ston? And, it's chilly, in Feb? (That's why I no longer live on the East Coast, but you have my condolences!!)
@@timhonigs6859 I appreciate it. Thanks. But believe it or not I love the chilly weather lol. It's the HEAT I'm not a fan of.

@@sophierobinson2738 And you do the same! 👋👋👍👍
This kind of confused me. At first I thought she called off the wedding. But they actually got married and the “prank” happened at the reception . Ergo, the divorce.
A Wonderful Wednesday to Everyone 👋 😃
Same to you too 🤗
The same to you, too, from Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada 🤗💖🇨🇦
You want to know how to surprise prank your partner at your wedding? I had the hotel put some hummus out in front of our places at the reception because of a long standing joke between us.
now that is a nice prank, unlike what nate and his friends did to samantha and her family
With people like that, it makes you wonder how much pain it will take to get their brains to work 🤨
And her second marriag3 is a farce. On the phone whilst getting married. That man should run.
those prankers haven't any brains among them
When your spouse won't even stand up for you, and even gets involved in pranking you, it's time to re-evaluate their worth!
On another note: Pranks are never right! If you need to prank someone, do it the JFL-Gags style. No harm done!
yes when that happens and it does, you have to look at the red flags or red flashes and the big picture, then start Runnning hard, wish my dear sainted aunt, she passed away from cancer 4 years ago, she had a horrible husband who enjoy being sexist to younger woman all the time

Cheers ☕️🍰
Stay safe, stay warm, go hug your fur babies and remember: you are all awesome 💙🐱💙
Good morning from Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada, and the same to you, too 🤗💖🇨🇦
"We will be cancelling the wedding and I'll be filing for a divorce."
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Seriously, do chatbots write these?
OP can console herself with the thought that Nate is probably spending his days tending illegal crops, not necessarily in the USA. That is, if he is not a pretty boy who will be used in a different way.
Indeed 😈
lets hope this true
Those three friends deserve to be having fun racing each other in wheelchairs.
yes they do, they all will be old and alone
When my BFF got married, they didn't tell anyone where they were spending their wedding night because they couldn't trust some of his army buddies. Their most insane prank was to get the groom passed out drunk at his bachelor's party, put him on a train with just a one-way ticket to a place 8 hours away. No cash, bank cards, ID, nada. This was long before PCs & cell phones which meant he had to make collect calls on a pay phone. Luckily, the wedding was 3 days later so he had time for someone to drive to get him.
I hope your friend isn't friends with those guys anymore, thank heavens he was okay, but still I wish people whom act this way would act as grown ups
@@jaclynsanture6643 It was quite a while ago & i doubt he's still in touch with any of them. It never ceases to amaze me how immature men can become & that it seems to be contagious with them. I'm definitely old enough to know better, but i still optimistically expect adult males to act like grown ups.
Ladies anytime a guy embarrasses you infront of ANYONE just to get a good little entertainment , LEAVE HIM.
The same goes for a girl!
this is true, for anyone who acts horribly to others
I don’t know if the idiots ever watched a wedding cake being assembled. They insert wooden dowels in the lower tiers to support the weight of the upper layers. By shoving someone’s face into a wedding cake, you risk injury or even death from those dowels. Imagine a dowel going into the brain through the eye socket! Yeah. Funny prank!
Don't you love it when the people in the wrong can't even give you a cr***y excuse to 'forgive and forget.'

If I ever saw somebody do that as a joke, I'd put him im a sack. Just before tossimg him in to the river, I'd tell him,"Chill out dude it's just a joke."
so would i, but my other sister by three years is a kickboxer and enjoys the mixied m arts
Been a long time since I saw one of the "It'S jUsT a "PrAnK" bRo WAIT WHY AM I IN TROUBLE WITH THE BRIDE?! " stories.
I was almost expecting OP to trick her ex into going into a room with a cake & his friends she sent to jail knock him into it to show him how she felt but it's safer.(No high heels, no knife) Then again that'd be stooping to their level & be a waste of dry cleaning & cake.
@@cybercat29 that is the wag it should be, they are all, expect nate ashamed of themselves
Saying "it was just a joke" doesn't turn abuse into prank.
no it does not
We will...assume....that the wedding happened and after the cake attack, that was the End of that marriage...gotta be the shortest in history.
Oh sure...they would say 'Your Honor...it was a simple, harmless prank that just got out of hand..and her husband helped us set it up."
....Yeah...woulda been a BIG mistake to stay with him on several levels.
Thanks for the Textudrama
Prank my butt. Nate deserves to be blamed. This wasn't a prank this was cruelty.
Her ex and his three loser friends should all have the snip so they can't pass on prankster/loser DNA.
Looks like they haven't gotten out of the "toddler's playpen" mentality.
This reminds me of the one where the best man pushed the bride into the pool at the reception so she broke her collar bone, the husband decided to go out with his friends and get drunk and joke about it. Only him and the best man found it funny in the end though
He should get married to his friends then
yes he really should do so
“I let you get assaulted. Why are you leaving me?”
said the sexist 'prankster' who can't grow up at all, sam: Why do you think?!
@@jaclynsanture6643 exactly sweetheart
With this assault being planned by her husband/fiancé, all 4 need to go to jail as well as pay for all the expenses incurred. Nate is a young teen in a man’s body. Not a good look on him.

Good morning from Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada 🤗💖🇨🇦
If my groom sided with his idiot frat brothers over me, he wouldn't live long enough to see divorce papers. I've seen CSI: Miami. I know you can kill someone with a cake knife.
Lack of respect for your partner is not a good look on your wedding day.
Sheesh.
A fitting punishment would be each one to get pranked by the others at their own wedding and find out that no one thinks it is funny.
@@cybercat29 That's optimistic. I doubt those three idiots would get any girl to put up with them long enough to go on more than a handful of dates, let alone get to the altar. Nate got farther because he wasn't in the circle, just the enabler outside.
Yes, those frat manboys did, let them end up being old and alone until they die
I’m surprised she couldn’t just get an annulment since they were married 2 min and the circumstances
Honestly all they need to do is not submit the paperwork they just signed. Most weddings happen on weekends, meaning the paperwork wouldn't even be filed until Monday anyway, so just ... don't. Problem solved.
I am glad she didn't let them get away with it. Also, a good change of subject.
Dude. 1. You utterly disrespected your wife's clearly stated wishes, which means YOU DISRESPECTED HER. 2. You didn't brighten the mood, you CAUSE THE EXACT THING SHE FEARED TO HAPPEN. 3. You LAUGHED at her injuries. 4. You didn't even rush over to her side to make sure she was alright (which she was not). 5. You showed NO consideration for her physical safety, nor her mental & emotional well-being. 6. YOU ARE NOT WORTHY OF BEING A HUBAND, PERIOD.
pretty much of what happen in the texting, sam ended up happy with a real man, nate is never to be seen again
The horrible male person isn't even worthy being called a man, neither are his friends
A prank is putting sporks on a friend’s front lawn. What these guys did was assault!
here's a question how the f do you know about what he's getting into his bank account after 5-6 years of not being married to this fool?
If they cancelled the wedding, how can she threaten a divorce?
Some people will get legally married/on paper married, before the actual wedding.
Ben? Jerry? Did they bring ice cream to the reception? LOL!
Even if she wasn't injured in any way, she was humiliated. That's not a fun prank, that's abuse. She was so smart to call off the wedding and leave that asshole.
Keep this guy away from weddings.
Nate, take a moment to at least use whatever you have as a brain for this: if Samantha hadn’t been holding a KNIFE during you and dumb friends “prank”, your wife could have accidentally stabbed herself. And if you would have checked on her she would likely have been bleeding to death. NOT ALL “PRANKS” ARE FUNNY!
Nate knew exactly what Samantha was worried about. So he made it happen! What a great guy! 🙄😑
Not!, why can't some people act their age is beyond me
I honestly can't tell if the Male voice is an AI voice or something. The way it "laughs" sounds hollow.
That or an "Alien", it just never sounds human enough.

It's not an "accident" if she was pushed by three guys with the consent of her fiance/husband/soon to be ex.
no it was not, sam could have killed
Nah, Nate is sleeping with the fishes now lol
one can hope so
She warned you not to bring your friends and their stupid jokes. You didn't listen and now you are alone yet again.
that is quit true, nate and his friends will Never Ever have girlfriends, wives, they will old and alone for the rest of their lives
Sometimes pranks aren't funny. This one hospitalized her and it almost got her killed. People need to think about the outcome of pranks before they go through with them.
this was not a prank, samantha could have been murderd
