Nobody at all on youtube that has discussed camber in depth enough for those people entering the car scene that have no idea how to achieve camber the correct way! This video (while including factual information about camber) could have included so much more from talking about appropriate suspension pieces like LCA's and toe arms (lots of people dont realize they need new toe arms and end up with a car they cant drive) UCA's, bump steer, camber plates and bolts, bracing etc. And most importantly you touched upon alignment and the way the car handles but didnt remind everyone that poor toe angle is the true killer of tires on stanced cars! Theres a lot that you learn doing things the wrong way with a stanced car so I think having a video outlining all the obstacles and what to expect would help a ton of people and be a really popular video!

I wonder why electric cars are so normal and have better performance stats than a very awesome cambered gas race car. The new Model S refresh goes from 0-60 in 1.9 sec and no gas car has ever done that. Plus its a daily driver.

I have negative camber on the rears of my 99' VT Calais.... I don't want it, it's not a track car, or even driven hard... All it does is scrub out the inner edges of the tires. It probably handles a little better in the rear end than older Holdens that I've had, but its excessive for the needs of the car, and as far as I read, there ain't nothin' I can do about it :(

My old corolla was slammed and had -3.5 all around and I daily drove it in North Dakota without raising it or changing alignment specs. The most tire wear I ever had came from having my toe-angle out of spec, once I got that fixed it just wore unevenly, not excessively. Even my MR2 set up for auto-x has camber because if it didn't it would be riding on the sidewall during hard corners. I think most "real" car guys just parrot whatever they hear on the internet about these kinds of things without doing proper research.

I found almost everything great info. But I wouldn't classify aero as esthetic when wider fenders give you space for wider tires, while a good front bumper helps eliminate the air getting below the car.

Positive camber was used on really good handling vintage cars (like Bugattis) because it helped with turn in when cars didn't have power steering. So don't be so quick to judge on that. I'd bet a vintage Bugatti is waaay quicker around a track or twisty than half the stupid fucking ricemobiles populating the internet with mostly fake aero and stretch. Alignment values all have different effects on handling be they for better or worse. Camber, caster, toe, thrust angle, roll center, scrub radius are all critical. Only reason why camber gets all the attention is because it helps tuck the upper lip into the fender of stupid wide setups. \the truth is out there.
