As a mechanical engineer I find both the history and the application of this technology astonishing. In a world where everything is so disposable its good to see a tourbillon made more affordable for us what fans. Thank you for the review Aviv!
Part of the charm of the tourbion is the loud tick! If you pay 100k it will be heard across a small room. The title of the video appears to be clickbait. These are extremely good value and well made. I have a Moser and Cie homage by rhem (large moon) and I'm extremely happy with it. In my opinion the Chinese are going to be a major force of the watch industry in the future. Whether it is company like Age Locer producing high quality complications or SanMartin (my bb36 homage is never off my wrist) they have something for everyone. Thanks for the review of this.
I can't comprehend how come they are able to make those awesome beautiful watches and come up with those awful names, fk you just separated the thing and it sounds 50 times better, not that age locer make any sense but still... WHY do they settle those ramdon names!? they could literally hire any western for a price of a drink an afternoon or so and come up with at least 100 brand or model names smh
Thumbs up. I agree about the printed name on the dial. Everything about the watch was well done, except that plain Arial font is like serving a filet mignon steak with potato chips.
9:30 I totally agree, I think if they went with something sublte, handwriting style parhaps with a little itallics action and a font colour with a tinge of gold that watch would look classier. The bold letters detract from the dial and the sceleton movement. For me it's an eyesore.
Aviv, Great review, as usual. I think if I had a chance to change the design a bit, I would remove the overbearing name on the dial, and would put their logo in very fine gold under the crystal, on the "naked" part of the dial , then I would add a fine gold line along the middle of the hands. Voilà, a perfect watch (although the movement is a gamble) ? Absolutely lovely watch. :-) Good stuff, thank you 🙂 . Cheers !!! Life is Good ! 🤙🤙 🤙 .
In this internet age, i can use a mobile phone or smart watch to track time, the only reason i need a tourbillon is to actually marvel its mechanical movement that's all, whereas a 1.5ms bit error rate... i do not think i will care.
G'evening & nice video Aviv ☕☕☕ 😇 . I think it was only a year or so ago when they put out the first sub $400 tourbillon from China (Aesop I think) that caught everyone's attention. It's just my .02¢ but if I remember right I don't think those sub $400 tourbillons sold very well. I wonder if they're doing a bit of brand recycling like we've seen them do before. I wonder if they took the Aesop tourbillon or maybe a V.2 of it, gave it a skeletonized dial, did a little better finishing on it and re-branded it before doubling the price 🤔 .
I just worry the watch you were sent is a"press" version with maybe better finishing. From watching a bunch of reviews the ones people buy seem to be not as clean.
@@MyAffordableWatchCollection maybe have a friend order one from the website? Do some sleuthing, they seem to be trying but it's so hard to know with Chinese production.
Not normally a skeleton fan, but could lose a lot of time staring at the movement, not convinced that I would drop this amount on the watch, but that is more about me, not a fault of the watch, excellent work fella.
Perfect choice of strap Sir ❤ Font looks cheap in finish Its by far my cheapest watch ,still i get the most reactions No patek guy knows an Agelocer😉 Very nice review😮
If they changed the name from 'agelocer' to 'Phillipe Lacroix' or some other fancy name I would definitely buy it but I can't buy something called 'ageloser'
The app is usually on point when it comes to the accuracy (as I was even told by a certain Swiss watchmaker). I guess that for the beat error a time grapher would be preferred.
Nice watch. Wish the hands were a bit more readable using some contrast. They should actually make a version that uses traditional Chinese characters with a name on the watch which has some meaning to time and Chinese culture. Be proud of what they are selling and where it is made.
Ifya go to their site now they let U customise face, strap, bezel & hands. I chose the 🌈 jewel inside edge with white hands on black skeleton. Three yr warranty so all good, after that just don't ding it on a car door getting out lol
You get what you pay for. It's a working tourbillon at a price lower than most of those shitty Hamilton chronographs with those ungodly thick and fragile movements.

For me it's about going back to the basics. Not everything has to be "smart" and have a computer chip in it 😊

I think it is astonishing. It somehow is very clean and simple. And it also has a lot details and fun things to watch. Also 40 mm is perfect size.
Thanks for watching, I'm glad you like it 😊

That part definitely needs some tweaking. Thanks for watching 😊
Agreed if the changed the logo I'd buy this. It makes it look like a Chinese brand the way it is at the moment
Same here. I would buy the watch we a better logo. 😢
My friend bought the same, the quality of material is very pour. They was broken after the small shake in one month!
Not a surprise. Chinese made products have very bad reputation , but cheap fools are keep buying Chinese made junk …

I sure hope that's not the case. It would be very misleading on their part.

I love looking at the mechanics of different movements, this one is great!
My wife was trying to understand why I was staring at a watch so closely 😂
@@MyAffordableWatchCollection hihihi!
Unfortunately, the model you have isn't available anymore. The skeleton in yours is a silver color with black hands. That is what I want.
I think it's a stunning watch. I'll consider it seriously.
Great review…you kept it very honest. I like that.
The agelocer branding absolutely ruins the watch, a real shame, because its otherwise really beautiful considering the price.
No problem, you can wear it on the hand with good accuracy. Don’t put it on the other hand, the one with the beat error!

Absolutely understandable, Chris. Thanks for watching 😊
I love listening to ticking sound, probably I should buy this watch.
Interesting, thank for sharing. Not sure I like such a chunky watch but would like a wall or mantle tourbillon, but can't fine one!
I'm afraid this doesn't exist...
it seems the rose gold one had best legibility.
If only the have a logo type brand rather than word salad on the most boring font ever on 12 o clock

🤣🤣🤣
"Maurice Lacroix" is the right brand name.
Do you mean Accelerator? It looks good
You said this was a true tourbillion. Are there watches that have fake or some other type of tourbillion?
Yes. Many brand refer to open heart watches (ones where you can see the balance wheel through the dial) as tourbillons.
@@MyAffordableWatchCollection wow. Those aren’t tourbillons at all.
What's the lug to lug on this?
is tourbillon selfwinding or handwinding or both. Please reply me. Thanks
Handwinding
Great review once again
Thank you sir 😊
The beat error may be wrong. I have an NH34 that reads 1.4 on my phone but .04 on my timegrapher.

see that China can make tourbillon under $1000 it is so ridiculous that Swiss brands charge 100 times for a tourbillon watch =)))
Child labor?
@@teleguy5699 that's a good joke

Great video brother! Pretty cool piece!
Thanks Josh 😁
Is there such a thing as a tourbillon with automatic winding?
Maybe in Swiss High Horology (Audemars-Piguet, Breguet, Patek-Philippe), I don't know.

I had to use Google Translate for this one 😅
It's actually easier to read the time than it shows on camera.
About the font - 💯
no seconds pointer? :(
The Tourbillion itself is your " Second Counter! ".... It makes " 1 rotation! " every 60 seconds!!
@@James71717 Right !. Some other brands put a seconds hand on the tourbillon.
Love it one day be owning
I don't understand why these companies shoot themselves in the feet by naming themselves something absolutely absurd.
Right? Why not call it Lynx,
Phoenix, Pegasus or Sphinx?
Maybe they want to avoid stealing existing names, so they invent new ones which mean nothing...
this is very interesting.
The only con of this watch is the "Acelocer" branding...They should make it a bit more unique cuz it looks really cheap.
That logo is a crime
But I can’t see the time😢😢😢

у китайцев названия их часов с надписями на латинском алфавите - нелепые. должна быть опция - без лейблов, или на китайском.
The brandin ruins it hhahaha

It's not. Merkur and Aesop Are cheaper. You can get Merkur for around $300.
