    Quick feedback for anyone watching this review in Jun of 2024, I own a Max Pro and here's my experience having one on a daily:
    1) Overall a great scooter, manages most of my requirements on a daily, if you want higher speeds that 35kmph you need to look for scooters with dual motors.
    2) Major Flaw: The pneumatic tires, I had two flat tires in the span of two months and I am extremely careful with my tech. Major disappointment on this issue.
    3) You will probably find 1/10 sellers having 11inch tires, its the most uncommon size amongst even major e-scooter brands.
    4) Whats the fix to the tire problem? I have replaced both front and back with 10 inch solid tires, (no need to pump air anymore), not the best solution especially when it comes to bumps but solves this major issue of flat tires.
    5) Another thing to keep in mind, the weight of the scooter, it's almost 25kgs, thats like carrying around a large check-in luggage, I have been told several times by bus drivers they won't let me in with the e-scooter. (I live in BC, Canada).
    6) Bluetooth module failed on me due to which I got locked out of my bike, the fix to that is you have to get the charger and charge the bike, that unlocks the bike. Another major disappointment when using the park assist feature.
    7) My honest opinion, spend a little more and buy other scooters that have a dual motor if you are looking at getting a big scooter like this, you are better off spending atleast $1200-1500 on another brand vs spending $900-1000 on the Max Pro.

    I love mine but, I am a little heavy for it. I installed usb fans paired with a 20k Mah battery to cool off the motor. So far so good. I am able to do around 30-40km with 40-60% of the battery. I always keep it over 20% to prevent dammage.

    You won't find many riders in the USA at 165 lbs over 25 years old! I have an S2 Pro and I get around 10 miles on mine at around 215 lbs. That is plenty range for me since I only go around .5 miles at a time. Saves on using my car every time for short trips.

    "No one can steal this scooter" 😂😂😂 sir have you met crackheads?
    All that lock means is that they cant drive it. But if they pick it up and throw it in the bed of a truck and speed off, by the time they figure out they cant drive it and its locked its still gonna be gone. So cool, they cant drive it but you cant either because theyll chuck that thing out somewhere and youll never see it again.
    tl;dr - still buy locks for your scooters and bikes guys.

    • @PoweredwithJohnny
      @PoweredwithJohnny  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      lol it’s more of a joke. The company likes the fact it has the lock out. Which it works from someone actually riding it but anyone can take these unless you get a real chain. Not some cable lock.
      I don’t know of a way to over ride it if someone did take it.

    I do think a bit more air in the tires would have increased your range a couple of miles

    Thanks for the great review. I was unsure between this and Kukirin G2 Max and finally decided to go for the latter. But after watching your video, again I’m not sure. Which one do you think would be a better choice? I need the scooter mostly for daily commute with ocassional hills ony way… (I used to own a Hiboy S2 pro, so I know their customer service is good, but I’m looking for something more powerful and smoother). I would appreciate your reply!

    • @PoweredwithJohnny
      @PoweredwithJohnny  ปีที่แล้ว

      The G2max does look like a deal at that price especially for 1000watt motor. Which hopefully is a decent motor with took. Not all are the same.
      But even then it’s a big enough difference of 500 to 1000 watts so should have more power no matter what. I will admit the HIBoY seems well built. I honestly don’t know much on the other brand except seeing the scooters but never around here or stores and more obviously. So it’s a crap shoot

    Great review - I got mine a few days ago. I'm really enjoying it so far while trying to learn its limits. It rides really smooth, but I think you made a great point that if you are 200 lbs + it will really struggle up hills.
    I would say if you are on the heavier side and/or live in a hilly area, consider a more powerful/dual motor scooter. If you aren't in the market for a particularly powerful scooter and are used to the small commuter ones, this is definitely a nice upgrade.

      Thank you. And I agree. Great scooter for cruising especially the flats and little hills especially if you have a run at it.

      @@PoweredwithJohnny Right?! It arrived today, and early. I was surprised because Amazon never ever delivers early in my neighborhood, but maybe because its so heavy they did. I knew it was a big scooter, but was surprised at how beastly this thing is. If scooters could be analogous to cars, the Max Pro is like a very nice 1980’s something Lincoln Towncar or Cadillac, and feels like a boat when Im riding. Very smooth ride.
