Acrylic disc air stone reveal

Hygger has made a new air stone that puts your classic blue one's to shame. My son and I do an unboxing, assembly, and finally a reveal of what it's capable of in comparison to other products. We had fun with this one. Enjoy!

I like the check valve at the rim of the tank, just incase the hose pops off the check valve.

That is a nice air stone. I just added an air stone to my 75 gallon. I thought maybe it would bring a little co2 exchange to the side farthest away from my filter. I like this one much better though.
I like hygger products.
I have hygger filters, heaters and lights for my tanks.

Excuse my ignorance, but I am setting up my second tank and want to add an air stone/disc like this. I seem to get adequate oxygen in my first tank from the disturbance on the top of the water from my 2 HOB filters, but I have a different filter set up on my second. What else would I need for the set up other than what comes in that box? Or, what does the other end of the hose connect to? Appreciate all the help you have given us for free. I feel like I've learned so much, but have so much more to learn about the hobby still. Thanks.

This air stone disc is the same as any bubbler in that it doesn't come with an air pump. However, air pumps come with all the necessary hoses and other equipment needed for your air stone.

@@yourtap I guess I have another question, I tried Google but get different answers. I was going to purchase the 3" hygger air stone for my 55 gal, but I'm not sure which air pump/ what size air pump to get. They range from $4 to $40 so I'd rather purchase the correct one first. In your opinion, is the 3" correct size for a 55 gallon? And do you have a suggestion on an air pump? I plan to have both plants and fish in this tank. Thank you for all the help, still new to parts of this hobby

Get the largest air disc and set it to it's highest bubble release.

Just don’t use such high movement for Bettas and Gourami fish . They need a gentler bubble action at the surface😊
