That is awesome! We just bought the X-Tool P2S and will unbox tomorrow. Would love to add the Wazer machine. It would just take our jobs to another level of creativity and design. Just need to save some money first!
OMG! I greet my girlfriends with a sunflower EVERY MORNING! I need some of these for Christmas gifts! PLEASE add them to the shop! The actual trivets!: not a file! :)
Very cool Sam do you think it would be good for cutting knife blanks for knife makers? I think Moore Knives who I sharpen and laser engrave for sends his steel out to be cut on something like this it would be cool to be able to use something like this to make test designs and make one of a kind knife designs. He generally gets a large supply of blanks cut once a year but this would be a great way to perfect a design or do small batch production for small knife makers.
Aside from varied trivets, I can see One Off stuff like school team logos and mascots but .. those would be expensive! I do love the combination and outcome. Plaques? Materials that could be cut?
CBA... Is 4 dollars supplies power and The Machine A Valid cost for a slight increase in value for single products.. Truthfully the extra steps over just an engrave sale seems Insufficient.. but... I would CUT MY OWN COASTERS From slate sheets.. Like when you Bulk ordered.. Tbh a Laser cutter and a 4x8 sheet of slate would be a sick tool.. Lol. ThanKS for the information
Looks very interesting, what had always put me off a water jet is the cost of running it and the mess/clean up and maintenance. What are your thoughts on that.
I want to get a few more jobs under my belt, but also measure the abrasive usage too. Slate cleanup was a breeze with nothing extra needed. That's not going to be the case with metals I'm sure.
Does the wazer constantly use new water or does it fill up a reservoir and reuse the reservoir water to do its job? Not thinking from a portability standpoint but a not wasting water standpoint. Some places have expensive water so anything to help with savings. Also ty for the trivet idea. Was making them already but had no idea what to call them. Marketability just went up bigtime.
Hey Sam great video as usual. Just wondering I noticed you done the tunnel to your old workshop. Did you do a video on that? Just wondering if I missed it. Cheers mate. 😊
No video on that... yet. I was saving it as one full video when it gets finished. I have a little bit of trim outside to still get done. I gotta try to get that done before it gets cold for sure.
@ thanks mate. Thought I’d missed it. Will be waiting to watch when you have it ready. Really loved your whole build series. Watch them over and over as I have just moved property and in the process of getting my new shop soon. Cheers.
The software mentions it's an estimated 3.xx USD cost for cutting the sunflower. This is 3 USD in abrasive material? Can the material be reused? How much does such material cost? Are there different kinds of abrasive materials? I'm gullible for such pieces of tech, why did I watch this video..
It would be out of my league as well. Maybe over the course of a few videos I can find some ways to merit the investment for others or tap into a niche market for someone to make money with it. I'm genuinely curious and whatever I find will be shared with you all!
I've been very curious what all it takes to get such licenses. Not only for collegiate but also other sporting brands. I'm sure it's astronomical, but it would be neat to know. :)
Oh, wow, mindblowing mixture of two powerful machines to make a delicate object!

Wow! Now I want a waterjet. So cool! Great video, as always!
If people wanted to batch make these, you could take the leftover slate and cut it to the size of the F1’s work area for a quick drop in jig
Great video, cool idea.
Very interesting. Next time I have $20K sitting around I may look at this.
ngl was hoping in the 5k to 8k realm. 20k was a definite hold. As a laser guy i love the clean cuts as opposed to charred edges.
I used and maintained an Industrial Flo Waterjet 5x10 ft. table. 55000 psi. Amazing multi material cutting machine but costly to run maintain.
Great video. I have been looking at these...also looking to build my own. Thanks!

Very cool but above my budget.
Would like to see you do something in all the other materials!😊
Really cool! I wish the Wazer was more affordable. I'd be in!
Thanks Sam
Very impressive bro
How well does the waterjet do metal? Your shop has grown so much!

You could use the wazer to cut custom shapes into those engraved business cards.
Wow 🤯 😮
Such a cool bit of kit.... If wazer want to send me one I won't say no!
Sam , you have a Maker’s dream workshop.
You're honestly so right. I am very blessed!
Reminds me of sandblasting Sam... lots of abrasive material!
I have very limited experience with sand blasting -- only in auto shop class from school. It was fun for about 10 minutes back then. LOL
Is it possible to etch with the washer? Like pull the pressure back or reduce the abrasive to cut only 1/2 way or so. To texture things...
Aside from varied trivets, I can see One Off stuff like school team logos and mascots but .. those would be expensive! I do love the combination and outcome. Plaques? Materials that could be cut?
Can you share what the Slate tile SKU was?
May the lord bless and protect you and your family and your business
I’d like to see what metals and thicknesses can be done.
What metals can the wazer cut? Can you do a video with that making a metal coaster, medallion, or coin?

You can sell custom floor tiles now

@Samcraftcom the good thing about using them for metal is it doesn't affect the temper of the steel. Ideal for knife making etc.
Can this do steel and aluminum?
Absolutely, it will cut a wide variety of materials.
Now this is cool. Question, is the abrasive used reusable?
No and it uses allot of abrasive. you need to store bags and bags!!
Nope... that's a consumable item with this machine.
I knew that new shop was too small for your future needs. #winning

19k? Yeesh.

Damn 😳 That’s quite the quid pro quo sponsorship you got there if they let you keep it. 👍
Chicken trivets would probably sell more of than sunflower.
Good point! Pets & animals are great sellers
waterjet machines are great but very messy, at least on the industrial side
only $20k!

You scored. $20K tool. This was fun to watch but way out of my league.

$ 19,000
Be cool (if you legally obtain license for it), to do like (for me) State of Ohio outline with Ohio State logo in the middle :)
I've been very curious what all it takes to get such licenses. Not only for collegiate but also other sporting brands. I'm sure it's astronomical, but it would be neat to know. :)
@Samcraftcom ill look up the sevice we used for making custom game controllers and reply with it here later
