Thank you. This is the best tutorial for no wrap short row heels. Other tutorials leave out the way to finish picking up stitches on the final row and continuing with the leg. After watching Arne and Carlos demonstrate this method with no close up shots I bought their pattern which is worse than the video! Yours is the best.
Sorry to be offtopic but does anyone know of a tool to log back into an instagram account?? I was dumb forgot my password. I would appreciate any help you can give me.
@Mayson Nehemiah thanks for your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Again THANK YOU . You showed this the best I have seen . I will be saving this to do my heal if I every get there lol. Working on two at a time toe up and don't getbit take much time on them but one day soon I will be doing this for my heal. The first pair I did I did the German Short row but now I want to learn a different heal.
Thank you so much! I can really see how to do it and you showed how to close the holes and which stitches to actually pick up. before I was just guessing and didn't get good results.Thank you again. Yvonne
Me too! I like how she took the time to actually show exactly what stitch to pick up and how to place it on the needle and the way to knit it. Also the SSK to get the little stitch lines going in the correct slanting position. Solved my problem.
Hello Tina, wishing you good health. I can go digging through Your tutorials like old antique dolls in the attic! They are awesome; some of the "very best by near and far." I think I am going to start using short rows on a regular basis and I am comparing your Priscilla short row to the German short row. This looks so much simpler without all of the frustration I am encountering with the German at this time. I just don't have it down Pat yet. I do think that this short row method is quite clean of lumps, bumps and yo holes. :)
Patricia POmpei Hi Patricia, I am so glad you are utilizing my tutorials and referring back to them with you need to. I actually do the same, especially for things I have learned but don't use very often.
Mary Ann...finally getting serious on knitting TAAT Toe Up and using this heel, which has been in queue for 7 yrs! Showing which st exactly to pick up was VERY helpful and yes, doing it multiple times was perfect. And thank you for going thru to the end because that is a tricky part. It would be easier on some ears if you used wool (no squeeking on needles) and pointy wooden tips? Then again, I don't think anyone complains when Car Bordhi does it, right?? LOL so ignore if you want 😁 the weight of yarn you used was great for seeing the sts; not so easy to see in those little yarns 😢 I'm having a hard time..might need a magnifier
I've not watched right through but from what I've seen it looks a really good one. I might just practise on a blank few stitches before I attack my sock! Some are so tedious.
Once you are at the point of knitting in the round again switch back to your main color and then do the final decrease on the first round. I hope that helps.
Just some constructive feedback: you pace well, content is instructive, patterns awesome. We all develop accents & quirky ways to say things. In this case, my suggestion is to watch out for the word ACROSS. Ending it w a "T" is unpleasant to hear. Maybe watching out & ending the word ACROSS with the proper "S" ending , would likely make your videos more popular. Like I said, you've got great content, pacing, etc.
I am glad you showed us working all of the stitches. It helped reinforce what steps to take. Thanks for the great instructions.

The quality of the video is enough to drive me nuts but I love the method of turning the heel. Thanks.

When I got done there were holes were I joined with the Ssk I guess I will have to work on it more.
good job !
Wonderful tutorial, thank you so much!
simple easy 。very good

What kinda short row method is this ?
Thanks for the info. Why don't you show how to do German Short rows?
What if you are using a contrast heel yarn? You can't just knit across the front for that last row!
Once you are at the point of knitting in the round again switch back to your main color and then do the final decrease on the first round. I hope that helps.
Yes, I tried that and it works. Thanks.

Holy shit I finally get it. Thanku # heroknitter
The camera is to close and out of focus. Its a pity because it would have been a perfect tutorial otherwise.
The adding of stitches begins at 6.29
nice easy way but you need to please stay on the spot required at the end, was hard to follow cause you went out of shot of camera!!!
This may be a little less complicated than a wrap and turn but not much.
melatina66 no wrap no fuss heel
This is very good, but I need an easier way if there is one, to confusing for me. I get frustrated, but I’m not giving up 😂 it
Try a shadow wrap heel, or German short row heel to start with.
