Sure, but I don’t understand the people who say “It looks the same as last year!” Apple actually makes huge changes every year, but most are hardware so yo can’t immediately see them. Also, why would you want unnecessary changes to a phone? Do you really want them to change the outer design every year just for no reason? If they believe the current design is sufficient, they aren’t gonna make unnecessary changes just for the sake of it…
If I needed to replace my pair of HomePod V1, which I use as a home cinema, I would buy HomePod again. The sound is awesome. It works great with my Apple TV. But man, as there’s absolutely no way to connect by wire, I can’t even use it with my consoles ! My PS5 sound goes to the TV only, so I only play with a headset. If I knew before that it couldn’t play other devices sound, I would have bought another system because it was quite expensive.
If the microphone can still listen to me while music is playing on it, then if I play a song that has the word "Siri" in it then will it activate itself?😅
If anyone is thinking about getting a hoempod, you should get the homepod mini. Its basically a homepod 2 but smaller, cool looking and has vibrant colors. Also theres a feature that will be activated with updates which is a thermometer sensor. Idk if its activated by now since I heard that a long time ago.
Depends if you want good sound quality or not. They are basically the same product just different sound/music quality. I have the HomePod mini and it’s a good device, can be used for ambient music but I wouldn’t use it as my main stereo. I have it by my bed and it’s set up to automatically play relaxing music at bedtime and energetic music in the morning. It’s also useful for controlling the lights etc. I’m thinking about buying the HomePod 2 but it would be for the living room where you need more volume and bass to fill the room.
Does the homepod work like a regular speaker? I mean, I watch movies and sometimes the movies have on some parts low sound and you can barely hear it using the normal computer speakers. I want to buy one so I can literally have it next to my ear, can this homepod work as just a speaker?

the first one did have a removable plug. the newer one has less tweeters but better tech in it. it’s rlly not that much better than the first one.

the bass is indeed the same. the only difference is that highs are louder which makes it sound like there is less bass.
