He faked it! You cannot connect to Wi-Fi using NFC with iPhone. You can do it with android, there are many nfc apps where you can do this. On iPhone, you need to have one of those apps to scan the tag and find the password that you have to type it in yourself. However you can use a QR code to automatically connect to Wi-Fi on iPhone.

I think an elderly person or a disabled person would really benefit from this kind of set up. It would be great if technology could give assistance to those with mobility issues. I myself have a lot of smart home items, especially HomeKit stuff, but I keep it to those I deem necessary.

Hey! Great video! I have a question on your bathroom radiator automation. Your water sensor triggers a temp in the radiator. What do you use to turn it off? And the temp back down? As far as I know, there isn’t a setting to trigger when water is NOT detected? Or is there?

How did you get Wi-Fi NFC tag to work with other iPhones? I can do automations and such but Wi-Fi credentials will not scan, only on Android.

I loved it so much. When I was a kid I was thinking that I’m the biggest fan of Steve Jobs and back then I read every single article and autobiography from Isaacson. I was even following the patents Apple were registering. I was that much big fan of Apple, so I watched Wall-E about 150 times and then I found out that iPhone’s designer draw the Wall-E (Jhony Ive).
It was so sad for that nobody around can talk with me about this. I enjoyed so much watching this video, cause it makes me feel so proud that people like this exist.
I have had iPhones since 3GS and I sold them all, sadly.
And I’m from Uzbekistan. In our country people weren’t able to create Apple ID and I have had one, cause I had so much love to Apple, so I found friends living in the US and asked their help to open an account and link the empty random card 🤣

HI, really liked your video. I had to ask one thing, in one of you videos you mentioned that if I am using Aqara Smart Door Lock D100 Zigbeemy and my door is unlocked, it makes a beep sound. What if I intentionally wants to keep my door open, how could I stop that noise from buzzing?

As far as I know, Tap to connect wifi doesn’t work anymore on iPhone since 2021. Apple disabled its background nfc reading. (It still works with android tho). Could you give me step-by-step how you enabled that as in your video? 😅

Hey Nikias. I’ve been following you since you were a kid and I truly love your work. You did a video a few years back about the absolute cheapest apple products and how well they functioned as an ecosystem. I think it was the SE iPhone, the SE watch and the standard iPad at the time- so all new, but the least expensive. I can’t find that video. Did you delete it? Can you make an updated one when the new SE finally comes out?
Like you I'm also a huge huge Apple fan. But budget is a issue so slowly I'm into building my own Apple ecosystem one at a time. See if you can help me in getting or finding Apple stuff that I like and in a way we can be of great help to one another in fulfilling our endeavor. Thanks it was a nice video
