I have since noted that it is more sensitive or efficient for lower angle incoming signals (ideal for DX work) yet more localized signals may be better on an antenna that accepts high angle of incidence like a horizontal dipole that is less than lambda over 2 above ground. As outrageous as this sounds, this Antenna System may be a better DX antenna on 40 metres than a 1/2 wave Horizonal Dipole at 5 or 10 metre elevation above ground. It is a small System but with an Ideal Ground it is also a Tidy System delivering low Take off Angle and good efficiency for its size
