@oblambo This comment is 10 years old, yet reading me has me flashing back to that and how my enjoyment of it forever imprinted it into my memory. Watching Liger and Berzerk go from tussling like animals to using their weapons,as Liger out paced Berzerk was pretty hype.
the final fight wasn't with the jager, or the schnider, or over powered panzer, but the og vanilla white liger zero. not many anime's do that especially these days. usually they pull a new form out of their ass but this moment just made you respect Zero.
they also gave a decent explanation to why it was used. the fury had no experience fighting the original armor while bit and liger did have experience fighting the fury granting him quite a massive advantage.
@@TheBronf however one thing that still bugs me, is that some of the zoids seem to have minds of their own sort of a primitive animal A.I. And some of the zoids are lying around in the ground waiting for excavation, how can a modern technology be that advanced and old? That last zoid liger and bit faced, was hyped up like a dinosaur,
@@clxwncrxwn well humans have reinvented things our selfs for example batteries are not a modern thing they were invented over 2000 years ago and there might be even older ones still yet to be discovered. with the tech being that advanced but old its kinda similiar but anime logic put into it.
This song played during the fight between the Liger and the Berserk Fury. Epic epic song, and a fight that needed more footage, because the little they produced was unbelievable.

This song got me goose bumps all over when jamie turned into the wild eagle. The image of his zoid blasting through at mach 3 through the enemy zoids and instant KOing them, was way too badass gotta love this series.
They wanted to bring back Liger Zero with Fuzors but it's just not the same ya know? (Liger Zero without Bit Cloud and the rest of the Blitz team just doesn't feel right..)
Man I legit feel old. I know its a cliché remark. But this show was aired back in my country early 2001 onwards. I was young, and albeit liking the original Zoids back then with Zeke. This Zoids version I just fell in love with. As unlike the "war" story of the first Zoid series. This Zoid installment was a warless version but still with the good vs bad groups of characters. And this soundtrack I just fell in love with. It sounded futuristic and it still does and it fitted the main MC. Together with this show I remember watching (aired in my country at the time, same time as Zoids) Greatest hero of them all Action-Man, Batman Beyond, Flame of Recca, Yu Yu Hakusho, Slam Dunk, Rurouni Kenshin and Fushigi Yugi
I'm gonna be 20 now (lord knows this shows how old I was when this came out) and I still get a little grin on my face when this comes out while rewatching the episodes, oh nostalgia. Honestly in my opinion this series was one of the very few but good animes during those years. Ready... Fight!

For me, New Century Zero has better battles, while Chaotic Century/Guardian Force has a better story since it's an adventure, and has many episodes. I liked these two the best, but the other seasons where ok as well.
If only they could combine the two most awesome moments when this song was used. "Raynos, It's all in the approach... the descent... and our breaking all barriers... SONIC BOOM!"

I know this is late but if you still want to know: New Century takes place hundreds of years after Chaotic Century. In Japan Chaotic Century was the first show but it was long and they didn't know how Zoids would be received in America. So they released New Century here first, since it was much shorter. It was popular so they released Chaotic Century in America later.
So...Chaotic Century is quite a few centuries prior to New Century Zero. Essentially, there isn't meant to be an explanation between the two shows. Basically, Chaotic Century was set in a wartime period where Zoids were used for strictly military purposes. After wartime, they just gathered dust or were used for menial jobs (Ex. using a Dark Horn or Iron Kong for heavy lifting jobs if regular machinery wasn't available) till, I suppose, someone decided to make battling Zoids into a game. Then it became a legit sport, then birth of the Zoid Battle Commission, etc etc and into this show. The other shows (Zoids Fuzors, Zoids Genesis, Zoids Wild) are all separate timelines. With a stretch you can connect them if you'd like. For instance, since Zoids Fuzors has so many similarities to New Century Zero (CAS system that Liger Zero uses for conversion into Jaeger/Schneider/Panzer and the fact that the Zoid the main character uses is also a white Liger Zero) fans like to believe that Zoids Fuzors is hundreds of years after New Century Zero, and that instead of being a different Liger Zero, it's perhaps the same one that Bit Cloud piloted and was passed down through the generations. So...yeah. Tl;DR - if you watch all the shows and get the general gist you can technically connect all the shows yourself. Studios won't make the connecting stories between shows because, frankly, it's boring.

I liked the girls dissonant vocals in the one I'm rewatching right now. It's kind of weird because they insert the parts cut out out of the show back in but in Japanese when the rest is dubbed

They couldn't make more. They did tests and found that far too many TV's melted from the awesome. What we got was the safest am mount they could release.
They should make a Massive Multiplayer game of Zoids, were you could run around the whole planet Zi and have w/e Zoid you want decked out however you want, battling against people and able to form a team with your friends and such, that would KICK ASS!
@1731Raven I saw a few episodes from Chaotic Century. Then i came back to it he was older but still had his kiddish voice. I had a few zoids 1 with a wind up motor it was one of the alligator zoids then this weird zoid that had 2 modes that you could like "transform" it
I remember this theme playing during the Jaime/Wild Eagle dogfight. Awesome scene, and it helps that the music is from Kou Ohtani of (Shadow of the Colossus, Gundam Wing) fame.
That moment when Liger blasted out of that smokescreen.

I will forever remember when the berserk fury was defeated by bit and the liger zero, it was so fast paced and epic that I can never forget it.
