Oh there was so much mind-blowing music back then. It was a magnificent time to be around. Great reaction. I love seeing young people discovering all the awesome roots of music.
This was 1968. Insane for that time period. Now it sounds "normal", except for the mix between the "metal" and chorus singing. And the production was everything else than digital.
THANK YOU for redoing it. I thought you might realize when there were no vocals on the previous reaction, but it's ok, we Beatles fans will steer you straight! ☺
Yes, the birth of heavy metal. The Beatles reshapped and defined Rock and Roll as we know it today, but Rock and Roll began, I think, with Buddy Holly, who was an enormous influence on The Beatles!
I wouldn't take the thumbs down personally, most of us know these songs, so when you react to a version that isn't the version that has stood the test of time, I feel bad for you guys... Even when you do the right version it's not like you're hearing it cold with no idea what to expect.. I remember the first time I heard Helter Skelter knowing a lot of Beatles music, nothing can prepare you for how different it is, it's cool to see that with a new generation... So keep the faith...
They'd been experimenting for ages. On this album they gave a nod to most genres of music...This one thrash metal, Beach Boys with 'Back in the USSR', 'Yer Blues', 'Rocky Raccoon' and so on.
There's nothing wrong with not knowing too much about The Beatles. They stopped recording together in 1969 and only spent 75years in the studios, but what a lot they did in that time, more than most bands can do in 20/30 years.
With the songs they performed on their first Ed Sullivan show performance, on 9 February 1964, (All my loving, Till there was you, She loves you, I saw her standing there, and I want to hold your hand), that's a career for a lot of bands! Then by April 1964 The Beatles held the top 5 positions in the charts, (5, Please Please Me; 4, I want to hold your hand; 3, She loves you; 2, Twist and Shout; 1, Can't buy me love), with also 7 more songs in the charts. That had never been done before, and probably never will be again!
@@JM-iv1ke in the UK in 1964 they sold so many records that the album With The Beatles got to No.14 in the singles charts (before sales of singles and albums were separated.) giving them 24 different songs in the top 20.

@@LilmannReacts Don’t worry. Just stick to The Beatles channel and you should be ok. It will be worth it. Or check the comments of the video you plan on reacting to, to see if it has gotten comments it’s not original.
@@LilmannReacts I am a huge Beatles' fan and have been for decades. It is unfortunate that some people are attacking you over simply doing reactions to their songs and not knowing much about them. Not all Beatles' fans are like that. Just do the best you can and take what people say with a grain of salt. I agree with checking out the comment section of every video before you decide to use it. The comments should help you know if it is a real Beatles' version of the song. Also how many likes it has.

I love watching young people getting their minds blown by The Beatles. Greatest band ever.
This song was the birth of heavy metal, rock and roll had already been going by this time.
🤘
Very nice reaction. Released in 1968 this song is arguably the first heavy metal song released. New sub.
Welcome aboard 🙏🙏🙏
Most people consider this the birth of heavy metal
Making mistakes is human, recognizing the mistakes and correcting them is the next step 👍👍👍👍
First heavy metal song.
🤘
Excellent!!!
Super great song
There is a newly mixed version of "The White Album" (50th Anniversary). That voice was Paul McCartney.

The birth of heavy metal? Absolutely. The birth of rock and roll? No. Rock and roll had been around since the mid 1950s. This was 1968.
Masterpiece ❤🇮🇹💣
More beatles pls
Check out Everybody’s Got Something To Hide Except For Me And My Monkey, also on The White album. It’s another banger, but largely unknown.

The mono version just fades out, the stereo version fades out then comes back, and ends with Ringo shouting I've got blisters on my fingers.
4 track "You may be a lover but you ain't no dancer" This was the first psychadelic/punk!
This was recorded with 4 track tape, but REALLY LOUD, so you’re getting tape distortion. No digitization existed in 1968
I always play this song LOUD!

Paul can belt it out
Don't worry, it won't be the last time you run into conflicting versions. It's all good.
Didn’t see your last Beatles reaction but you did the right thing this time, ie went to the official Beatles channel. Keep doing what you do.
🙏
I'm hearing it in stereo. Beginning of rock n roll. What a laugh. Heavy metal maybe.
Great job......another underrated song from the white album...
Yer Blues
This is the song Marty McFly should have played at the school dance in Back to the Future...😅

Great Review! Stereo was new then. Producers were still figuring out what to do with it. So there's a lot more panning to one side or the other.
Good job.
I missed this track back in 68-69. I'm 72 and glad to hear this for the 'first time' in detail. Loved McCartney's bass riffs. Nice choice.
That was John on Bass...Paul wrote the riff on Guitar.
Also the new stereo remixes are different to the original ones. Using different takes. This was the last album released in Mono, also different mixes.
Thanks for the info
Sorry people shat on your last vid. People can be super elitist. The Beatles are considered the greatest for a reason.
Thank you🙏
