know what you are talking about, my family is PhilAmer and they live here in Ga. Spent 14 months in the Philippines without them and missed them. I'm back in Ga now about 4 months and miss my adopted family in the Philippines, but love my family here in Ga really miss the heat in the Philippines. Can't wait to get back' and I'm going on 80.
Sounds like a good time, but I know that feeling about the heat! It's definitely a big part of the lifestyle there. 80?! That's awesome, great job taking care of yourself. Amazing 👏. Enjoy the family time and enjoy your next trip. Jay
Just kidding brother! Just keep doing what you're doing. I come from a Latino culture, so I mesh well with the Filipino culture. I'm only about 5'7" so I am also short like most Filipinos, but my white Spanish skin makes me stick out like most other foreigners in the Philippines. I like the conservative family values over there because those are the values we were raised with here in South Texas.
@4302arod it's good to hear, yes, Philippines society by and large is what I fit in with. I keep my head down and try to be quiet as much as possible. Don't bother people, look out for one another. Seems simple enough. Looking forward to the next few months, a lot should be going on. Let me know what your up to, figure something out.
@@jaysphilippines Will do! The plan is still mid to late January and stay for 3 to 4 weeks. It is the slow time of the year for me. I will probably be in Iloilo and Dumaguete for those three weeks, but plans could change. If you are there during that time, I would like to take you and the family out to dinner.
@4302arod i see my message didn't go through. Iloilo is a possibility for us also. Have to see how the little one is doing. Absolutely 💯. Dumaguete will be in for awhile, months. We can connect before with # or fb
The US creates a cycle that we get stuck in because we can make money here. I'm 41 and don't have any savings to make the move yet, but I plan on saving enough dough to make the move in 2-3 years. My blueprint: save $100k and get monetized by youtube. I don't want to wait until I'm 60 to find my Filipina. cheers man!
It truly is the worst part. Like a prison sentence. I just did my 9 months. Lol 😆 I'm out soon. One more shed, maybe 2. But I can at least look forward and make plans and ideas. Definitely helps get through the year.
Jay, I am glad to hear that you are going back to the Philippines. Like you, I am tired of the cold. However, I will not move to the Philippines at this time because my mother is 98 years old, and I don't want to be that far away from her.
Mine is 70. And it guts me leaving. If anything happens feeling. But she also gets on my nerves, lol. In a motherly way, and i got to do what's best for little one. It's tough. Stay warm buddy. I know. Enjoy mom
I enjoyed that Jay. I saw USA strawberries and blueberries at Robinsons the other day they were like 560 pesos for a small container but they are great for a treat. Cheers 🍻 mate
If you plan to keep on building stuff in the Philippines, you are in for a treat with Tanguile wood. Medium to hard density wood, extremely versatile, rich mahogany color when stained/oiled. Very durable but not too hard on hand tools. It's cheap too!
Keep going sir ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉philippines iw very nic if visit differentses province sir u can enjoyed more❤❤❤ just feel at home donr mind about the temperature❤❤❤❤
When you come home to the Philippines, you might wanna check out Baguio but make sure not to go there during the peak season coz traffic gets REALLY BAD. most of the local strawberries come from Baguio because it's cold there upnorth. It's located at a high altitude that's why it's dubbed as the summer capital of the Philippines.
You’re right, there are a lot of great vloggers in the Philippines, and many are fluent in English, which makes it easier for them to connect with viewers around the world. But half mine are from other countries also.
TN guy here, and I love where I live, but it does get stagnant. I'm all in on the PH once I have my ducks in a row. I almost gave you a thumbs down, but just couldn't pull the trigger, lol! Cheers Jay!

Because Filipinos are just happy you came to Philippines so they just support all foreign vloggers. You tube is not happy about the generosity of the Filipinos subscribing to every single foreign vloggers.
I don't eat it anymore, but growing up, a 8 piece bucket of chicken with mashed potatoes, biscuits, Cole slaw. It was definitely a big deal. It was good times. I wouldn't eat it now unless someone just brought it over. Lol. Many people here have great fried chicken recipes. It's a big deal.
That's true. There's always been a travel advisory for tourist about that province. Take caution and pay heed. The American who was taken mentioned in on of his vlogs that he didn't really felt safe. On one night, he couldn't sleep and he received threats. That should have been a turning point for him to hightail out of there or at least go to a safer place. I get it, he has a wife and they have a place there but it's best to ERR ON THE SIDE OF CAUTION. Also, there are other expats who married pinays in that province but their wives made sure their husband won't ever step foot there. Would have wanted to know how his wife made attempts to keep him safe. I live here in the middle island group and I've traveled to other places in the country but never there nor WILL I EVER.
In KFC country...a lot of people just don't want to be on camera...want their privacy. I'm the same way. Hey...how do you feel about being in that video on Captain Crunch's channel now that you don't have anything to do with him? You say no one knows what you are talking about (11:50)....Jay...you know I know.. you know that I know, ; ) Good for you that you now realize that anyone that has an extensive history of mental illness and that spent years living on the streets....might not be the best people to know where you live. ; ) That's something Ned learned many years ago...you may remember he use to hang around some shifty looking expats...he got messed over...and only then did he stop associating with expats. You decide not to buy land in Phils this year? After people think about it for a while (and get over the jungle high)...most people decide that their bread is better buttered in USA and stick to vacationing else where. That seems to be the trend.
Nice video. I am going to phils soon. I been there many times before. Going to be nice.
Hope you enjoy it! I still enjoy that feeling of anticipation and getting prepared. Nervous, fear, exciting, all of it. Lol.
Thumbs up ❤

The only time you going to see anybody making videos in Kentucky is if they are in a tree stand, especially this time of year. lol

Subscribing them doesn't mean they watch them all. Plenty of Filipinos would be happy if we didn't come also. Lol
