I like uploading the resulting tune to my computer and use their software to see what the delta is...the stuff that the auto-tune change from what it used as a base. For me, I do notice diminishing returns after a few auto-tunes...which makes sense. I'm sure doing the auto-tune with the wide band O2 sensors is much more effective and much more expensive. I don't think auto-tune makes adjustments while you're riding. I think it makes observations. The results aren't committed until you apply the tune.

you're right $500-$600 is dumb, add a few hundred for the tuner and that's the cost of a pro tuning a thundermax for you

Depends on the weather, about 5-7 minutes. I usually start riding when my temp gets to 100 but the Dynojet only starts recording data at 170
